does anyone know of any wedding chapels in florida or are they only in vegas?

I just want someplace where you can walk in and be married, not have to rent it out and plan....

2. No go -- there are only a few states that don't have a licencing requirement and mandatory waiting period and Florida isn't one of them. That's why Vegas is so popular for eloping. Nevada and I believe New Hampshire (Vermont, maybe? One of those states) are the only ones w/o the requirements.
3. Actually, the state of Florida requires ONLY state residents to have a 3 day waiting period to obtain a marriage license. Non-residents DO NOT have a waiting period to obtain a marriage license. If you are looking for a quick, non-expensive way to have the ceremony, consider contacting a Notary Public. All state of Florida Notaries Public are legally able to conduct your wedding service and sign/stamp the license and they will then file it with the County Court Clerk's Office. I myself, have performed several weddings (from simple informal to formal ceremonies). While not all of them perform weddings, a great many of them do perform wedding ceremonies. .
