Question about Vegas wedding chapels?

Is it standard to get a written contract for a scheduled wedding at a Vegas chapel? The one I'm dealing with gave me a bunch of confirmation numbers, but they keep ignoring my requests for a written contract.

1. Two of my family members got married in Vegas.. Neither of them got a written contract from the chapel. I dont know policy for all chapels tho..
2. Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I cant speak for the stand alone places but at the casinos, they will require a deposit to hold the date and will most certainly give your some sort of written agreement when you give them the deposit.
3. most of them will not give you a contract. as most weddings at wedding chapels are spur of the moment they don't do them. Also since they are really just officiating there wouldn't be a need.
