Can I dye white satin wedding accessories ivory?

I will use a wedding guestbook as my example. It is white satin, with a white satin ribbon overlay. Then it has silver and white hand-beaded butterfly embellishments. My wedding is an ivory butterfly theme. Can I completely dye the guestbook and many other items ivory, without making it look tacky. 1. idk how u wud dye a book :/ maybe u could get one made?
2. Unless you can take the satin off of the accessories, it won't be possible to dye them. Why not call to find out if you can get it in ivory? Even if you could dye the pieces, the butterfly will not take on the color. We call it "tea dying" because we use the water from tea bags to color pieces with.
