What is a simple yet symbolic Egyptian wedding tradition we can add to our wedding ceremony?

Our parents come from four different cultural backgrounds and we are trying to honour them all in our wedding ceremony. My fiances father is of Chrisitan Egyptian heritage. Any ideas?

1. Ask him since it is he you are wishing to please. He may not even want the symbolism as his child's wedding. Not everyone wants to hold their heritage in high esteem.
