Any elegant cake toppers other than mongrammed?

I would love to find something to go with my January Old Hollywood feel wedding that is elegant and sparkly, but no monograms. I've waded through at least 30 sites so far and either they only have the cheesy bride and groom, or the price is well over a hundred dollars. Any suggestions?

  1. How about your picture with your husband?
  2. it's not that sparkly, but I've always been a fan of using flowers as a topper. Done in white perhaps it would be elegant.
  3. Hmmm... part of me thinks this is cheesy, and part of me thinks it looks very "Hollywood:" http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=12013399 I think this is cool, but you might need to find someone to create it for you: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=11779592 Maybe you could use these somehow--they seem very Grace Kelly to me: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=11776261 Or... you could get one of these vintage Rolls Royce toy cars (like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/1-43-hand-built-Rolls-Royce-1925-Phantom-I-Jonckheere_W0QQitemZ250252584870QQihZ015QQcategoryZ223QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) and put a little "just married" sign on the back. The more I think about it, the more I like my last idea (which someone else has inevitably posted since I started my search... that always happens!) Best of luck!
  4. These are pretty elegant, but they`re not very sparkly. http://weddingbella.weddingstar.com/7096+Reaching+Bride+and+Helpful+Groom+Mix+%26+Match+Cake+Toppers_category:cake_toppers; http://weddingbella.weddingstar.com/1043+Contemporary+Bride+%26+Groom+Figurine_category:cake_toppers; http://weddingbella.weddingstar.com/8458+Contemporary+Love+Birds+Cake+Topper_category:cake_toppers;
  5. We did two chocolate covered strawberries one that looked like a bride and one that looked like a groom. I know its not sparkly but its kinda different.
  6. try visiting this web site -- they have alot of great ideas for cake toppers in different themes and colors: http://deluxefavors.com/caketops0001.html
  7. Make your own! Thats what I'm doing since no 'store bought' topper is really suitable for my fiance & I. I bought a base and am now decorating it as I want (e-mail me if you want to go this route, I bought more than I needed).
