Should I use a teal or a coral colored sash for my wedding gown?

I am getting married on Hanalei Bay, Kauai, on the beach. I love both colors and hubby's shirt will be the color (or mostly) of my sash. This is an informal wedding for the most part, but I had to have my dream dress. My fiancee will look good in and has agreed to wear either color....

  1. I LOVE the coral color. I think it is beautiful and with your wedding on the beach, even more nicer. Good Luck!
  2. Coral
  3. teal!
  4. i like teal
  5. teal
  6. Definately Coral!
  7. id say teal it would stand out in your wedding pictures the best
  8. If the dress has teal trim, go with the teal sash
  9. Either color is nice for such a occasion but I would go with the coral, the teal may be too much in the photos.
  10. i think u shud use a teal sash. so that way itll look good on him too and it stands out but not too much u kno??
  11. Coral would stand out more - your wedding plans sound great.
  12. I think teal would be pretty against the sea. When i think of anything about Hawaii, I think of that color! Go with it and good luck! UPDATE: Okay, I totally thought about this this morning while i was getting ready...don't know why....but anyways. Go with coral colors in your boquets or flower decorations and have a teal sash!! You can't really go with "teal flowers" ...not many options. Now you can have the best of both colors. I'm a wedding photographer and I beleive this would be absolutely beautiful in pictures!!!!!
  13. I prefer coral but then you know men.
  14. I like Teal
  15. I'm not crazy about either. Those colors remind me of the 90's.
  16. Teal would be so unique and pretty!
  17. Teal. Matches your surrounding (ie - the ocean).
  18. Both colors are gorgeous. I personally love teal, and think coral is more of the slutty look for a wedding, but you are going informal, so why not. And, must tell you to have a ball at Halalei Bay, Kauai. Are you staying at the Hanalei Colony Resort? It is the last resort along the road, and is simply stupendous. I stayed there years ago, very romantic, even with my b_ _ tchy wife at the time. What a fabulous setting for a dream wedding. Cheers!
  19. i'd go with teal. it'll bring out the color of the water in the background (and matches well with sand and other beach things). also, i don't think your hubby will be thrilled to wear a coral shirt! congratulations!
  20. Well, coral is a good color on most as far as Photos and skin coloring go, gives a healthy glow by bringing out the peachy skin tones, but then again the Teal would compliment the water and sky....... Maybe let Him choose if you don't really mind either way. All righty................... I wasn't much help now was I?! :)
  21. Definitely coral. I had coral/red roses and they were beautiful! I love the coral color :)
  22. teal AND coral- twisted into a thin rope, or do a teal sash with coral piping, or teal with coral flowers emboidered or sewn, or vice versa.
  23. coral coloured
  24. Which color would your fiance look best in? Some people do not look good in orange tones, and if you think he's one of them, I'd go for the teal. These photos will last a lifetime! Congratulations!
  25. teal sash and coral flowers. then you can have the best of both worlds and the colors would be great together and contrasting.
  26. Teal Coral reminds me of peach, which reminds me of the 80s
  27. Teal............ go with a bright color to make a splash
  28. no color at all i got married there actually right next door at lumaha'i beach. hardly anybody knows about this beach!!! behind the koa or boy scouts something or other. the beach is perfect and no charge! much better than hanalei bay beach which is where we stayed.. to busy and to much in the background for pics. the beach we got married at is cresant with not a thing in sight but palm trees mountains and water.i'll try to sens a pic. sorry i know it didn't really ans your question but i hope this helps... trust me you don't want it at hanalei!!!!! also i hired a wedding planner for big $$$$$$$.... I didn't need one i'll help you if you want. trust me better things to spend your money on there than a wedding planner that doesn't really do anything than know who to go to. well i have that info to give to you for free oh yeah but the ultimate kauai guidebbook. do a search online it'll let you look at hotels . color i everwhere there. you don't want the extra color in the pics!! do ivory can't figure out how to send pics of our wedding there
  29. I like teal if it's a light, aqua color. If not, I would go with coral. Something lighter colored will look more "beachy" in my opinion. Congrats by the way! You get to get married in one of the most beautiful places in the world :)
