What do you think of this dress for a Greek wedding?

I am getting married in Corfu, Greece soon and don't want to spend a fortune on a wedding dress as it will essentially be a beach wedding so I am looking for something cool and comfortable. I just happened to be browsing the internet when I came across this dress which I think is very Grecian and elegant looking. I have ordered the dress to see what it is like on. I am pretty much set on an Amanda Wakeley gown but the normal wedding dresses are in excess of £2000 so that is why I was thinking of just getting a budget version by the same designer considering it will be a low-key wedding abroad. I thought the Grecian style of it was perfect for Corfu also! So it looks like if I don't like this dress then I will be forking out at least £2000 unless I have a sudden change of heart... 3. To me it does not look like a "wedding dress", but anymore i do not think there are alot of standards for what a wedding dress is. Bottom line is, it is your day do whatever makes you happy!

7. to golden and flashy you should get a strapless plain white dress that has one of those flaps of clearish stuf on both sides its hard to explain
8. I thought it was a very elegant gown. I don't think it's too laid back, I think the sequins do a good job of making it look glamorous. There is something abt the design that looks different and doesn't look like any other wedding dress. This one is very special, I love it! Go for it! Congratulations! ;)

16. Sorry, I am not impressed. Get yourself a dress like Marie Antoinette, descending the royal staircase at the Palace of the Sun Kings. Or, the one worn by Scarlett O'Hara in "Gone with the Wind." Loads of room for pinning banknotes upon. My Greek friend Chris (he is 'money crazed') ensured that his bride's dress took up half the church. Ended up with about £30,000 pinned upon it and upon his 'rent-a-tent' suit. During the night, his wife slept, whilst he counted the money - at least 2 dozen times! He spent the rest of the night thinking about it!!
