Any ideas for my wedding?

I want it pretty cheap, and small, I love the beach and want it there but my mom is in a wheel chair, and my grandparents would have a hard time walking on the sand? Any unique ideas for a smaill cheap wedding?

  1. if you still want it at a beach you could have it on the pier
  2. how about in the park by the pond. Usually there are also beautiful fountains around.
  3. I'm sure there are areas of the beach where they have laid down cement, or you could make a pathway of thick plywood boards painted ivory leading to a special seating area. Scatter flower/petals all over your mother's special runway. Get the flowers from the grocery store.
  4. We had our wedding at a bed and breakfast in the garden and my family cooked the food! The bed and breakfast provided the tent for the reception, chairs, tablecloths, chair covers, and so much more for only 2000! It was perfect check around where you live and call places that you think are suitable!
  5. Hi. I don't know what you consider cheap, but you can always check into having it at a Bed and Breakfast. Many B&B's provide this service and can also host a reception right on site. Here is a link listing all the B&B's that provide wedding services. Check it out for those in your area: http://www.bbonline.com/weddings.html OR.....what about a private room in a restaurant? Most restaurants have private rooms for parties, etc. Most area willing to work with you and your ideas/plans. Many brides on here have done just that -- had their wedding and reception at a restaurant. OR.....what about someone's home? A family member or friend? Someone's backyard? It is nice of you to think of your mother in a wheel chair and your grandparents who have a hard time getting around. To be honest, I would not do the beach for those reasons. There are, however, many alternatives! There are so many places now that you can host a wedding/reception, especially if you are having a small one. It's just a matter of looking around and seeing what is available to you. Good luck!
  6. I agree with the peir thing - my cousin did that for her wedding and it worked fine. Otherwise find a lookout on a cliff over a beach - they are usually undercover too! As far as having a small cheap wedding - it really depends where you want to scrimp on money and where you feel you cannot... there are many options - too many to mention here without more info!
