  1. Nothing, it's just semantics. A wedding ring and a wedding band are two different names for the same piece of jewelry- a ring worn on the fourth finger of the left hand to symbolize marriage.
  2. i'im curious to know it !
  3. Band just refers to the type of ring - the traditional kind that you see most often in the west. Of course, a wedding ring need not be a band, so you can use the more general term to denote that.
  4. There isn't a difference. Both refer to the same piece of jewelry that is put on the ring finger during the wedding ceremony.
  5. No difference, they are just two words for the same thing. I prefer to say band because it is a more distinctive piece of jewelry. A ring can be anything.
  6. Wedding ring, you wear on your finger....Wedding band you dance too...
  7. I would say the band refers to the plain gold band that has no ornamentation on it that used to be more popular and a bit more affordable and a ring has more carving, stones and ornamentation.
  8. A wedding ring has diamonds in it and a band is just a band. It has no diamonds.
  9. nothing, just certain ways people call them. A ring and a band is the same, its the round shape!
  10. One you wear on your finger and the other plays music at your reception ;)
