  1. tattoos and pericings or necklaces, a braclets, i don't know be creative
  2. Nose rings. T-shirts that say "I'm with him/her". Let's face it. You can wear whatever you want, but if you're not wearing rings, nobody will know you're married.
  3. tattoo..band that is all i can think of
  4. Tattoos. Whatever you choose, you want something to symbolize forever, or for eternity. The ring was used because its a band...its never ending.
  5. tattoo the wedding band on...no ring, but the symbol is there.
  6. to the outside world, a ring is the most symbolic. that shows, if you wear a ring on your left hand, that you are "off-limits" to the opposite sex. in your personal life, anything can symbolize marriage. a necklace, a bracelet, a wall hanging, etc. you need to find something you both agree on. we don't know you or your beliefs, etc. good luck!
  7. Lightsabres!
  8. Hunter in the hizzie is right. Lightsabres are the way to go.
  9. I read in a magazine the other day where a guy couldn't wear a ring because it was dangerous at his job, so he got a really tiny tattoo of some initials on his ring finger. It was initials that meant something that was special to only them, that no one else knew.
  10. mt friend got her "ring" tatooed on too... i personally think it looks tacky on a chick (sorry, no offense) by her husband's looks kind of cool. they had promise written in sandscript.
  11. Well, I know alot of people are saying tattoos, so i won't repeat it. But I did know of a couple who had spacial fabrics. They both picked materials from their grandparents ( the bride choose a piece of her grandmother's dress and the groom chose his grandfather's handkerchief). The couple exchanged them at the ceremony instead of rings. It was really beautiful to see and the wasn't a dry eye in the house. They keep the fabrics with them all the time. And my husband and I did something like this for our wedding only my bouquet was tied with fabric from my mother and grandmother's wedding dresses and my husband used his grandfather's cuff links on our wedding day.
  12. Most people are opting for ring tattoos. but i am not crazy about that as i hate tattoos, if u dont want rings then dont get them, but i dont understand that why get married and not have at least one wedding ring. u dont have to wear it after u get married if u dont want to but at least have a nice gold band for the ceremony...
  13. First of all, there is no such thing as sandscript. It's called 'sankskrit' for those of us who don't know. I've always thought the tattoo rings look kind of neat. It's definitely the ultimate symbol of marriage-it never goes away, never comes off. I don't really know of any other ways to symbolize it-you could get matching tattoos elsewhere, wear matching necklaces (still never ending symbol of eternity), etc. If you don't like traditional wedding bands, just get rings that suit your style. Good luck!
  14. Anything that the two of you can decide on that is a symbol of your everlasting love. That's all a ring is. No one else has to know what it means, it is something that the two of you know and cherish! Good Luck and Congratulations
  15. A broach? You can wear it on your wedding dress or incorporate it into your headpiece.
  16. Tattoo bands or a matching one somewhere else on your body. A Necklace with a ring on them. I knew a couple that used the money they would of spent on expensive rings and made a payment on a house.
