we will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary late October, any ideas for a romantic break?
Prefer England but may like to venture to Europe, not too expensive, but good, thank you

- It depends on what kind of break you want. (a) an activity break - walking and talking romance - stay at a country pub for a couple of days (b) just you two - a log cabin and then a meal for two, the wine, the flowers, the togetherness at night. (c) interest (as well as nooky), then I love Paris, but this is a cold time of the year, it really is better in springtime as the old song goes 'I love Paris in the springtime.....la la J
- A secluded log cabin in Loch Ness.
- Lake District is always lovely and romantic. Or try Northumberland coast. Less touristy than L.Dist but much more beautiful. Try Berwick, Alnwick & Seahouses. I loved it.
- What about Australia, Sidney is a great place to visit. Or to really make it romantic, But I bet you can't remember is to take her to the first place you had a real dinner, then add a fine musician, swoop her of to a fantisuite like say the Moon. There are some wonderful motels that offer fantasy suites, of all kinds. Then the next day ask her where she want to go, to questions asked, no money spared. Just go. I guarantee you letting her decide the place and day to day things will make her happier then you Can imagine. And no matter how boring it is you love it! It's about the two of you! Congratulation!
- Went to Rome last year and thought it was fantastic. Can't wait to go back again.
- if it was me i would like to go for a spa break, particulalry one where u can have treatments together and just be pampered and relaxed. theres some good ones in uk, and also europe, u may find some good last minute deals, search hotels with spas on internet.
- Me and my husband went to Venice in November last year and it was gorgeous had a fantastic time. Very romantic and not that expensive (compared to some places). The gondola's help the romantic mood.
