I want to take my husband to Pens Landing Spirit of Philadelphia for our 1st wedding anniversary.?
What else is there to do in the city? We live in South Jersey so we do not need a hotel room.

- Since Penn's Landing is right there, I recommend taking a stroll along South Street/Old City. You can never go wrong, and there are plenty of bars along the way if you want to stop in for a few drinks. That area of the city is a bit pricey tho, be warned. If you are coming on a weekday before 4pm, call the City Hall Tower and request two spots for the Tower Tour. It lasts about 15 min, and it takes you all the way to right below William Penn's Statue (such beautiful view of the city and Jersey!) Keep that in mind!
- old city is the best place ever, walking around south street is always fun, i don't know where it is (3rd and main?), but there's a restaurant called the continental that's really good, there's the Franklin institute (i think the King Tut exhibit is still there, if not they always have something cool) there are millions of art galleries, they're open at random times, but if you go on the first Friday of the month they're all open at the same time. and of course there is the duck tour, i think its fun for all ages, even my grandma had fun.
- That sounds like fun. Also try riding the ducks!!! You can get a tour of Philadelphia. Purchase tickets at 6th & Chestnut Streets. If you are looking for a nice restaurant there are plenty in Olde City also Warm Daddy's is very nice. They serve soul food and the music is awesome. Sometimes they offer live entertainment. It is located at Delaware Avenue and Reed Streets..a few blocks from The Spirit of Philadelphia. There are also a lot of historical sites in Olde City which is only a couple of blocks away. Enjoy!!!
