Men: What would your ideal wedding band be like?

My fiance wants something gawdy w/ big diamonds all around. I told him that most guys just want something simple, maybe like a thick titanium or tungsten band. So, guys, what would YOU pick for your wedding band?

2. simple silver/platinum band, doesnt look too gay (no offense), or flashy, and it goes well with just about anything

4. I know I'm not a guy, but my boyfriend and I were discussing this one night. We agreed on simple, matching Platinum bands. He said he didn't want any kind of diamond. He doesn't like the way that looks on men. I think some men can pull off diamonds that are IN the band, but plain just looks better.
5. Just a solid white gold or platinum band would be pretty cool. It wouldn't have to have any stones in it. Titanium is really strong but I think it tends to scratch easier than other metals with gradual wear. Maybe get him something that has a unique design engraved into it, that way it'll be special without costing an arm and a leg!
6. If he would like something with diamonds than buy one with diamonds. He's going to be wearing it, not you.
7. I can't believe the # of people that gave you links to musical bands. LOL My fh wants a wedding band that is silver toned (mine is white gold) with "scroll work" as he puts it. It will have to be a hard metal as every ring he has ever worn warps so bad he can no longer wear them. No stones though...even if he wanted them i wouldn't let him. They look so gaudy in my opinion.

9. My husband does not like to wear jewelry, so he wanted something very simple and light weight. He chose a titanium and yellow gold band.
