I need your wedding accessories help! Four months to go!?
Ok, I know everybody asks this question, but I would like your opinions on hairstyle, veil length, jewelry, even makeup and shoes. I do not have enough girlfriends. Sheesh. Here is the link to my dress: http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?keywordText=marie&keywordType=any&pageSize=8&page=1&style=A3151LU I need a little help! Anything helps, even snide comments about how you would never pick that dress for yourself, but... Thank you all in advance. September 20th! Sarah G...really? That's so cool! We were probably separated at birth. Wedding twins! Bonkers!

- Amazing dress!!! Since i don't know your hair length, i can only tell you what i will do. I will go with half up half down with my natural curly hair. I'm not a veil person neither a tiara but i will go with a nice tropical flower ( since it will be destination wedding) Make up i would suggest something light and natural that compliment your natural beauty! You will gorgeous whatever you do!
- Oh wow! I have the same dress AND the same wedding date!!! I'm wearing my hair up in big, Andrews Sisters-esque curls with a tiara to accentuate the neckline and gorgeous back of the dress. I also have a shoulder length veil that will be attached underneath the back of my hairdo. I have two jewelry options...the first is small, solitaire diamond earrings and a pearl and crystal necklace that sits high against my collarbone. The second is no necklace and some elaborate, sparkly, chandelier earrings. Congratulations and best of luck!!!
- hair-curly maybe with a flower in veil- medium length jewelry- pearls or diamonds make up- neutral colours shoes-i dont no you probably wont see them that much under the dress i LIKE the dress!!!
- The dress is SOOO BEAUTIFUL ! Hair Down and wavy (like the picture) for sure ! Loooong veil will work but no crown. necklace simple little diamonds or maybe even a chain with a solitaire, earrings solitaire. Try and get a jeweled hair comb to dress it up a bit...
- Beautiful dress!!! I had a maggie sottero too :) I don't know the length of your hair but I like it down on the model. I had a similar dress and I wore mine half up (my husband likes it down, I'm more comfortable with it up so I compromised LOL). I had a single veil that went down to my butt, it ended up being my favorite part :). But I am like you, mostly guy friends so I just did what I was comfortable in. For hair and makeup I really left it to the professionals and let them do what they thought looked good. I think it turned out perfectly. For shoes, I was married outside on grass so I didn't really want heals that would sink in. I looked everywhere for white shoes that would work and I could wear for hours. I came up with nothing, I actually found some gorgeous green shoes that had a paisley shape on them with sequins and stones, with a kitten heal. I figured what the heck! no one is going to see my shoes anyways, and green was a predominate color in my wedding so I went for it. Although, no one cared except when I went for my dress fitting I think the ladies there thought I was a nut job! They couldn't believe I was wearing green shoes!! LOL!!! Also, for jewelry I only wore earrings. I originally had several necklaces I was choosing between and I brought them all in to the fitting and it was agreed upon by everyone that I should not wear anything....so I didn't. Since your dress has that beautiful flower I might stay a way from a necklace because it could get to busy and distract from the dress. Congratulations!
- Beautiful dress, I think a tiara would look great.
- nice gown, simple but, pretty! well not sure but, there's this cool site that I recently tried out you can download your pic and there's a free demo to get a consultation for hairstlye. www.thehairstyler.com don't click register b/c it costs about $14.95 to be a member the demo thing is free. Not sure of your skin tone, eye color, jewelry would be simple Traditionally you'd have something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. The veil length I'd say midway. the trane here looks midway. if you go for an updo then it's best to not wash your hair for a day or two the oils in your hair help the product and the style stay in place better. Hair down looks nice on the model so, either way up or down would be nice. shoes make sure they're comfortable I ended up taking mine off at the reception to dance. Make up should be natural. but, that's just my opinion. Pearls would look nice if going for classic look. Bridal mags helped me out a lot. Beautiful gown and congrats on the up and coming wedding.
- I really like the dress, with your hair do something elegant and classy, I love the way she has her hair (the girl in the dress) http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_169.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_47.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_48.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_188.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_86.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_145.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_132.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_114.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_81.html http://www.onewed.com/wedding-hair-styles/wedding_hair_style_53.html there are so many hairstyles you can find on the internet, when I got my hair done, I showed the girl what I wanted in a few different pictures and my hair turned out better then any of the pics I showed her. if your gonna do a veil go shoulder length, maybe a bit longer you dont want to cover up the beautiful detail on the back of your dress as for jewelry, think simple the dress is beautiful and you dont want to go overboard, maybe a beautiful strand of pearls and some pearl drop earrings. as far as shoes try something simple and easy to walk in (think comfort) No one is going to see your shoes, if your doing white go with white shoes, if your doing ivory go with ivory shoes. i would go with a simple high heel. I had an ivory dress, I did an open toe, sling back with a natural heel. make-up go simple/elegant, with make up and hair it depends on your skin tone and your hair here are some eyeshadow ideas http://makeuptip.files.wordpress.com/2007/10/dior_makeup_visuall-a4.jpg http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2007/stylewatch/trends/070129/jada_pinkett_smith.jpg http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd208/nessapics682/eyetut.jpg http://www.kissandmakeup.tv/temptalia.jpg http://images.inmagine.com/img/imagesource/is461/is461029.jpg here are some makeup ideas http://www.weddingservices4u.co.uk/Images/BeautifyLogo.jpg http://www.mellistyle.com/images/bridal_1.jpg http://images.snapfish.com/33:%3B879523232%7Ffp63%3Dot%3E2329%3D55:%3D484%3DXROQDF%3E232356%3B%3C369:6ot1lsi http://media.redgaloshes.com/sq/216/010532.jpg http://www.brides.com/images/editorial/2007_brides/03_04_p518_makeupmadesimple/00_main/001_primary.jpg there are so many ideas out there, I hope this helps, good luck and congrats
- Your gown in absolutely ravishing! However, the rosette is reminiscent of a grandma to me...I see it at work on the older ladies often. But with the rosette there, you won't have to worry about jewelry and keep it simple on your neck. I would personally wear a pair of diamond, pearl, or other color stud type earring. Your hair, depending on length, would look lovely up to show off your collar bone and back, or swept back off your face and pulled back loosely with a comb in the back or flowers pinned in. If you like a Vail, I would do one that is supposed to stay in the back and would wear your hair up with the vail comb under the bottom of your hair. I am sure you will look beautiful. I too am about four months off from my wedding...I know the details are the devil...it will all be worth it though. Congratulations! I.L.S.
- Hi, go for a short veil, with hair up to make the most and show off the beautiful back of the dress, wear shoes with small heel so you are comfortable. That dress is quite alnate so go for simple jewelery. The dress is stunning...
- Very pretty dress. No veil - just some sort of flower, design on a comb, etc. http://www.princessbridetiaras.com/newsite/pbt_products/N101.shtml http://www.princessbridetiaras.com/newsite/pbt_products/N150.shtml We don't know your hair length, but down is nice as in the pic there, maybe some at the front swept back and up. Don't overdo the jewelery - a simple pendant and earrings. I like these - http://www.amazon.com/Bridal-Crystal-Fancy-Drop-Necklace/dp/B000QCL2RW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=jewelry&qid=1211029633&sr=1-1 http://www.amazon.com/Bridal-Crystal-Fancy-Drop-Earrings/dp/B000PKLYQE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&m=A11OPV2L59B8WO&s=jewelry&qid=1211029732&sr=1-2 Shoes - I'd go with something very classic - but depends on what heel height you want - http://www.bridalshoes.com/item/dyeable-2-inch/72030.asp http://www.bridalshoes.com/item/dyeable-3-inch/erika.asp
