wedding favors?

Having a simple wedding with just family from both sides, what would be good favors, i was thinking just little wedding boxes with assorted candy. 4. my aunt and uncle used wine cups. What about having those little boxes with fragrant petals.etc. inside? But some people might be allergic.... Just stick with the assorted candy. It's fine. Is soap a good idea? GOOD LUCK! AND CONGRATULATIONS!
5. At my wedding, we put out refrigerator magnets with our names and the date. I still have one on my fridge. :) In my family, it's tradition to make lots of cookies for a wedding (Ukranian)....so we needed boxes kind of like the picture so people could take cookies home. I went to Tokyo Joes and stole a bunch of their to-go boxes. Really cute, and free!
6. You could always do bubbles, you could also do a cute center piece that is crafty! Or "framed" name/seating cards
7. Wedding favors are suppose to be something your guest can have to remember you by.If you give them candy they will eat it and forget about the wedding really fast
8. I'd keep with the edible favors, I'm not a fan of buying a bunch of stuff that's only going to end up in the garbage. If you wanted to do matches, that might be ok, because at least it's something that's useable. I have been to a number of weddings, and when someone gives me a favor like a picture frame with their name and wedding date on it, I have never taken it home. I left it on the table, because honestly...why would I want that? If it's a summer wedding, maybe paper fans would be ok, but make sure that you're buying eco-friendly or even better, recycleable.
9. i saw something one time and i thought it was real cute, it was a card like thing that had print on it, it had a poem about how love blooms and forever growing.....people take the cards home and plant them (its actually flower seeds) , it was pretty neat

11. i don't know. i've been trying to pick out favors the last couple weeks. anything that's not edible will probably be thrown away. unless it's something homemade.
12. you could get small fish that match your wedding colors, use them as the centerpieces and then give them as the favors as well. of course, i don't think this would work if your wedding colors were say, pink and green.
13. Edibles are always good. What about heart-shaped cookie cutters with a little poem attached? Votive candle holders? Candles? I like the boxes. They are very cute.
14. I was at a wedding and they gave Chocolate covered Granny Smith apples. They were in clear wrapping and as ties they used ribbon w/ there names and date of wedding they also had photo key chains (w/ picture of the bride and groom) attached. It was really, really cute and very tasty.... CONGRATS!!!! ALL THE BEST

17. Te boxes are a neat idea.You could also give them a one time camera so they can take pictures to keep of the ceremony.also you might could just give them a brag book to have to put pictures of the wedding in.

Alot of people told me they love the bookmark idea. I have a lot of readers in my family!!!
