For my wedding party favors, what are some candies that won't melt?
I'm having an outdoor summer wedding, and for the party favors, I'm getting tiny gift boxes to fill with candy. I don't think chocolate will work, because it will melt. Any other ideas for treats to fill them with?

- JELLY BEANS :) you can get them fairly inexpensive after Easter, saved us a ton. :)
- M&Ms won't melt.
- Jordan Almonds, won't melt and they have pretty pastel colors that will go along with your wedding. You can even get them in silver and gold! http://www.candywarehouse.com/jordanalmonds.html?OVRAW=buy%20jordan%20almonds&OVKEY=jordan%20almond&OVMTC=advanced&OVADID=2498598012&OVKWID=26497111012&ysmwa=Bz48ODB4BZsNYNrSJuEQbM4f1k0VJ1gC4UnIRx_7fQrhxNrlk80ejh92EGzgvEPf
- how about sugared almonds? theyre traditional wedding favours. . .also delicious.
- M+M's they melt in yo mouth not in yo panties
- Taffy a good all around non melting treat, get the big ones wrapped in wax paper
- candy canes? joke. plain candy. Actually, chocolate would work, just give it to them after you put them to the fridge
- there are different color peppermints, and different color Nerds candy too, candy hearts that has valentine phrases on them. i wouldnt recommend hard candies or lollipops for they are syrup-based and will definitely melt.
- yes its very nice and u can trust roozbeh on this.
- buy up the heart shaped lollipops that the stores sell for valentines day. you can pack them up in organza bags instead of boxes. or just get some of your fave hard candies/mints to fill the boxes with
- Jelly beans would be really cute. M&Ms especially if you get them customized at mymms.com is really awesome with a great variety of colors. My friend gave out M&Ms at her summer wedding in southern california and it didn't melt =)
- Saltwater taffy for the beach Anything gummi Homeade sugar cookies (or any kind of cookie) with recipie. Perhaps a sun cookies with how you made them. Honestly you could just get all the candy you want and have the caterer bring it out to set up the candy bar after the cake cutting.
- How about those after dinner mints? They are made in pastel colors, but they won't melt. You can find them in the Bridal dept. of most stores.
