  1. There are many books in the library and book stores that have just the ideas that you are looking for.
  2. Don't be so concerned about the decorations as the theme of the party - most people only go to get free food and drinks anyway - do whatever you want.
  3. go to google or yahoo and search for wedding decoration ideas. maybe there will be something for it.
  4. Keep it simple; watch the movie The Inlaws.
  5. Invest in a copy of a bridal magazine such as "Canadian Bride," "Modern Bride," or one of the many others you can find in a bookstore or elsewhere. These are chock full of ideas and are also about 80% ads, any one of which will forward you catalogues or direct you to a website. Actually, I got these mags free while shopping for my wedding dress - they gave them away at the bridal shop. Don't let yourself be talked into the most expensive stuff, either - I was married last October in an outdoor ceremony, about 45 guests, and came in at under $2000 with hors d'oeuvres, Wedding Cake, Plenty of fresh flowers and autunm leaves for decorations. Everyone loved the wedding and commented on how genuine it was.
