Church Pew Decorations - Ideas on how many needed please?

I am planning to have flowers on the end of the pews in my church for my wedding, but I'm not sure how many I would need. There are 16 pews on each side of the aisle and I thought about 4 on each side - spaced out at every 4th pew. How many did you have for your wedding or how many would you suggest? Thanks for yor time.

1. That should be fine. I had about 20 pews on each side and put decorations on every other pew.
2. I had a lot of pews, not sure how many but I did 1 skipped 2 did another , I also swagged material from 1 to another. It looked so pretty walking down the aisle.
3. I think it looks good when it's every other pew. Every 4th seems a little spaced out to me, but you will have to decide what looks best in your church. My church was built in the 70s so it's got that oh-so-nice orange pallet and would need more decoration rather than less. You may be able to get away with less depending on your site. One thing that I think would be nice would actually be to do every pew. I know that sounds like it's adding a lot more money- but you could do something fancier on every 4th pew, like you were planning, and then do something simple on all the other pews- like maybe just a nice bow in your colors. Something inexpensive, but something that still carries your colors and design through the whole space. I would avoid swagging between the pews. Although it would be pretty, it would also make it tougher for your for guests to get in and out of the pews.
4. I got married in a Cathedral so I had a lot of pews. I put flowers on every other pew so the church didn't look over done. On the first 2 rows of each side where the parents and grandparents sat, I placed big, beautiful hanging flowers for them.
5. I had white baskets hanging off the end of the pews that had flowers in them. There was one on the front pew (on each side), we skipped one, put another. After that, we skipped two pews and continued that pattern to the back of the church. I think we had a little less than 16 pews total on each side. What you are planning sounds great! Congratulations!
6. i didnt the beauty of the church was enough!! otherwise it was expensive and pointless to spend money on something that people arent going to take notice off!!!
