why does he want to turn on a movie after sex?

guys - is it common for u to turn on a movie after sex? if so, WHY? my bf, he turns on "Wedding crashers," "Spider Man 2" after sex and then the other nite he turned on "Waiting" after sex. he seems to like only watching movies (with me) after sex. when I ask him to go to movies to see Grindhouse he say he'll wait for DVD!!! now we go to dinner, etc....is this odd behavior or just me being odd?

2. naa, sounds like he is just relaxed after sex and wants to chill out with you and watch a movie!
3. Sounds a little odd to me but we all have our little quirks. A lot of people want a cigarette after sex so I'd say watching a movie is a better choice.

7. I think that maybe it is just his way of relaxing afterwards. He must feel secure with you to share that type of "intimate" moment with you. It sounds sweet actually. Other than the part of him not wanting to go to the movies...been there done that!:)
8. most of them dont need/ crave/ see the importance of the lingering "lovey dovey" stuff after sex like holding cuddling and caressing, so their attention goes elsewhere after the deed is done. this is very normal. my guy turns to music after we're done.
9. Most guys feel the way after sex.It's like they got what they wanted,now it's over so it is time to go back to reality.They do not have to reflect or think back.IT IS REALLY OVER AND DONE WITH.
10. After sex, he probably feels relaxed, content and close to you, so he just wants to watch a movie with you and be near you and keep chilling.
