What should you do when you order your bridesmaid dress and the wedding is canceled? I was asked to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and agreed. The dresses that the bride chose cost $160. Should I wear the wedding dress to the venue? I am getting married (both ceremony and reception) on a dinner boat this Monday. Wedding Dress? So my wedding is May 24, 2009. My mom told me I am only allowed to spend $500 on a wedding dress (does not include alterations) so last week we went to a store to see if this was a feasible budget to get what I want. We went to 2 different stores and I ended up trying on about 20-30 dresses. I found one that I LOVE!!!!!! It is a discontinued style and no one else in my area has it (I've checked). I have the dress on hold and this week and next week, my mom, my best friend and I are going to look at other dresses. If I don't find anything that I love as much, we are going to consider buying it. I am afraid that either: A) I will decide not to buy the dress and then never find anything that I love as much or B) Buy the dress then see something I love more Is it too early to get it? Like I said, we've been together for years and were fine with the way things were. A couple of months ago we decided it was time to make it official so we will be getting married in July. I happen to come to a website called House of Brides, they have a dress call D4031 which they mention to be compare to David Bridal's CV189. I have never thought about buying a wedding dress online, but the gown at HOB is only $465. Should I buy David's Bridal, or take the risk and buy it online? The only thing about buying online is that I can't feel the fabric and its non-refundable once I place an order.

Iam tring to find a wedding dress i recently tried on? i have no style number and when i rang them up to find out they said it was one of theirs... im sure i can find it else where much cheaper but they know that. i have already tried looking in the dress to find out but the lady who changed me stayed with me all the time!
