Wedding Budget Calculator Knowledge Base
Budget Costs? I'm trying to create a budget for our wedding. I'm using the budget calculator on TheKnot.com. It says that we should only allow 10K for food, based on what are budget is and the number of guests. Although, I don't think that's enough. I'd like to save somewhere else and apply the savings to the wedding budget. The Knot calculator said I should use $650 towards ceremony expenses. However, I'm having a Catholic wedding. I don't believe it will cost $650. I plan on having a few flowers, maybe two pieces for the alter and then a donation to the church. Is it going to cost $650? How much does a Catholic ceremony usually cost? I don't plan on decorating other then a few flowers here and there. I'm also DIY my own programs. sorry, should have said that I'd like to apply the savings to our food/reception costs. I shouild add...... I don't believe you are allowed to have aisle runners, my church does not allow a unity candle and you are not allowed to decorate the pews. The only thing you are allowed to add to a Catholic wedding, is the flowers for the Alter. Usually, only 2-3 arrangements
