Spurs theme song too much for the bridal party introduction? Hello! After posting a question related to a song for the bridal party introduction at my wedding, I got the idea that we could use the Spurs theme song "Get Ready for This". Because my fiance and I are both from San Antonio, we are getting married in San Antonio, and of course we are Spurs fans, I thought it would be fun to use the theme song. At Spurs games, the theme song plays when the players are being introduced. I thought it could be playing as the bridal party is introduced too. Here is a link to hear the song, "Get Ready for This". http://www.amazon.com/ESPN-Presents-Jock-Jams-1/dp/B000000HKM/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-1875775-6364701?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1184880320&sr=1-2 What do you think? Too much? Is it fun? I don't want to look foolish......but I was looking for something fun and different! This will play during the reception and the Groom's cake is Spurs theme too. Bridal party, and parents of the groom/bride, and bride/groom introduction at the reception. Definitely not the church!! :)

Wedding reception entrance? Hey everyone, I am in the bridal party for my cousin's wedding next month and we are having a hard time thinking up a funny way to be introduced into the reception. We kinda want everyone as a group to come in because the groom's mother does not have a partner and we feel aweful having her to walk in alone. So we figured we'd think up a funny introduction, but are having the hardest time coming up with something. Does anyone have any ideas? Songs we could come into? Thanks!
Would it be okay to play 50 Cent "I Get Money" as the introduction for the dollar dance? My mom is letting my DJ do basically whatever since he can tell the music that our guests will want to get up and dance to. I want to incorporate some different songs for the usual wedding reception events. The bridal party is being introduced to the beginning of "Blind" by KoRn and "Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix (that has to do with my fiance's nickname). Would it be "appropriate" to play something like the beginning of that 50 Cent song? I just don't want to hear about it later on, but it's just so... me. ha ha Help!
