wedding hair? any good websites for wedding hair styles? I want elegant half up half down,and I have a veil and tiearra as well so I'm really wanting classy..anyways someone please help!!!also wedding accessories if you know any cheap or nice hair twists or clips..as well.

DIY Hair Accessories. Need to know how to make rhinestone hair pins- Any suggestions? I really like DIY stuff. I don't like how expensive this wedding hair jewelry is. I want to make single rhinestone hairpins for my bridesmaids. Five at david's bridal is $15 dollars a set. I figure I can do better than that. Has anyone ever made hair jewelry? Do I have to sauder everything? I don't want them to look cheap, but I don't want to pay $75 for little hair pins. Any advice?

Is it okay to wear plastic hair accessories to a semi-formal event? I have thick hair and the only way I can wear it up is with a special super grip plastic clip I have. It's black, the same color as my hair, so it blends in pretty well, but I'm worried it will look cheap or tacky. I was thinking of getting some jeweled pins to clip up my hair in the front, to draw attention away from the black plastic clip. Would that work? The only other option I have is to go to a salon and have them use 75 pins and a ton of hair spray like I did at my wedding, but I don't really want to spend the money and time since this event isn't THAT formal, just a gala dinner. Any suggestions? The clip works like those big claw clips---it's fairly large. I know there are lots of jeweled barrettes and clips, but those aren't strong enough to hold my hair UP, which is what I want to do.
