I need help with a wedding gift for my bride...? We are to wed on January 27th. We met through eHarmony. According to this wedding planner we have been using, we are supposed to give each other a personal gift for the wedding. Scrapbook as a wedding gift, and obtaining photos? I was thinking of making a scrapbook as a wedding gift to her and her fiancee. However, I have almost no pictures of either of them since I'm really not a shutterbug. I will be one of her bridesmaids...would it be against etiquette or is it ok for me to ask the bride and groom's families for pictures of both of them while they were younger (through the years kind of thing...), as well as friends? What to give with gift for girls in wedding party? I've decided that I'm going to get personalized beach bags in different colors. The girls in my wedding LOVE the beach and anything beachy. Wedding gift help with wording? We received monetary gifts from over 95% of our guests at our wedding. We need something to write that is short and sweet but makes them feel special. We bought personalized postcards as thank you notes so we do not have a lot of space to write. The money is not being used towards anything soon... so I dont want to say the money is being used towards.. blah blah blah. Why aren't personalized stories more popular? Not the hardboard books for preschoolers and younger kids, I mean for teens, adults, everybody. I searched the web and found not only few websites about these items, but those who search for them are almost nonexistent. And yet, when I talk to people around town, they love the idea of short stories for kids, teens and adults, especially romantic personalized adventures to give as wedding gifts. Why the difference between web attitude and real world attitude toward this gift idea?

Are these decent wedding and wedding shower gifts for my friend? I'm thinking of getting an engraved picture frame for the wedding but feel that I'm going to need something else to go w/ it, it just seems too small a gift. Can you think of a great, personalized unique 27th anniversary gift idea? Every year for my parents anniversary I get them something personalized. I have gotten their wedding picture framed in a custom crystal frame, and some other things. I don't like just going to Hallmark and buying something generic. Wedding Gift Idea, please help!? Okay, as one of the gifts for my parents, I am putting together a scrapbook of pictures of me and them from all ages. I found a website that I can have a scrapbook personalized... but I'm trying to figure out what I should have put on the front.. There are three places that can have wording: The front center The front, bottom right corner The back, centered on the bottom I figured on the back I would put "I Love You" and the date On the front in the bottom corner, I thought about putting "Love Always, (my name)" like how you would sign a letter... Nice wedding phrase for gift? I'm getting my friend a photo album for her bridal shower since she is a photographer. I'm allowed to personalize it on 2 lines. On the first line I put her and her fiance's names and on the 2nd line I would like to put some sort of love/wedding saying. I thought of 'Forever and Always' and 'Together Forever'. Did you go overboard with the wedding extras? I discovered the craft stores a little late. I am not a crafter by any means and never thought to look there for wedding stuff. Now I want to get all kinds of things.... but it would be going overboard! So I can't. My mom ordered personalized shot glasses as wedding favors. We still have to figure out if/how to dress them up. I have little swan boat thingys that we could dress up and use as favors. I saw some inexpensive toasting glasses through Oriental Trading. They are so cheap it's tempting to get them. My mom wants to get personalized napkins! I think I got tons of gifts for my attendants. I have tons of decorations, but no centerpieces. Everytime I see some cute favor, I want to get it. I also ordered some wedding activity pads and plastic wedding cups from Oriental trading for the kids, so they don't get bored. I got a recipe book with blank cards at my shower. I would love to have people somehow share their favorite recipes with us to put in the book. Since someone asked.... No, I am not an alcoholic. I probably average about one alcoholic beverage a year! But I do know some people collect shot glasses from places they visit, etc. because it's a rather inexpensive "souveneir". Also, shot glasses, depending on the shape and size can double as a votive holder. Maybe I'll put votive candles in them so people don't get the wrong idea.....

How can you word a thank you/apoligy letter? I asked my bridesmaid out of the wedding and now I feel bad. She did help a little with the wedding by helping me organize and stuff so I want to say thank you and I also want to apoligize for asking her out. Future Wedding? I am thinking about how to make my wedding very personalized, meaning incorperating a lot of the things I and my boyfriend love. I for instance love cotton candy and I thought of renting a couple cotton candy machines and operators there to hand out cotton candy at the reception in the color of my wedding, which would be blue. But I want to do more than that... I love anything that sparkles and I plan on having a cake with layers of rhinestones on each layer, and rhinestone monogram letters on top of the cake. gift ideas for bridesmaids? Hello! I am having 3 bridal attendants - my sister and 2 cousins. They are all in their 20s and younger than me. None of them are really into jewelry or very "girlie" things so as a gift I'm thinking of getting them personalized tote bags (nice ones) with little gifts inside - so far I have DVDs of a wedding themed comedy and a framed photo of the 4 of us laughing at my bridal shower.
