Help with Autumn Wedding Colors/Flowers? My fiance and I are planning on having a fall wedding next year. We are thinking about creme and burgundy. And ideas for additional colors? I really don't want your typical brown or pumpkin orange. Also any ideas for seasonal flowers? Please add pictures if possible! Thanks for the help!

Help with flowers for Fall wedding....? I'll preface this by saying that I am not a rose kinda girl. It would be so much easier if I was but I'm not. Colors are deep plumy purple, pumpkin orange, chocolate brown, and white. I really want a clean look so something that would look great as a single stem is a bonus. Links to pictures would be great if you have them but not necessary.

what flowers and colors work well with a november wedding? my husband and i are renewing our wedding vows in november and i am having a hard time deciding on the colors. it will be a fall/country theme and i don't know what flowers or colors can be used and it not look tacky. all answers will be appreciated and if you know of any websites with pictures of flowers and directions to make them, then they would be appreciated. thanks and GOD bless you all!!!

Wedding cake, what do you think? Hey all, I have been compiling different aspects of wedding cakes that I like to figure out what I want in a wedding cake. What do you think of these things? I'm having a 1920's Hollywood Glamour wedding. I need some ideas.? I need help choosing decorations, centerpieces, bridesmaids dresses, flowers, etc. I do not like colors and it is a Fall wedding. alright...YOU tell me!? i give up! my ideas just dont seem to be working! ..sooo...you tell me what you think! my bridesmaids will be in black tea length dresses. groomsmen in black suits w/ white shirts and black ties. groom in black tux with ivory vest/tie to match me. it is not a 'formal' wedding...small..55 people but i still want it elgegant. most likely in a church w/ a red carpet. what flowers should everyone carry? including me? remember..black dresses. please post pictures if possible! im open to anything and any color! wedding reception tables decor? I am getting married in a few weeks October 25, 2008...YIKES!!!!...We have no real set colors, the invitations which are gorgeous are Gold with a Black border, the letters are all Black. My maid of honor (she is the only attendant) already has a Black formal dress and a Maroon formal dress, I just don't think it is necessary to have her or me buy another formal dress. OK now to my questions. What colors?? I do know I am going to use gold accents and fall flowers in different colors I am thinking a lot of Maroon mums etc...I had thought about doing overlays over the white tablecloths, but do not know what color(s) ?? I had thought about gold. I also saw an awesome picture where some one used burlap but had satin chair sashes, it actually looked very elegant. The tables are 60" rounds, so they would take 90" overlays...they are so expensive, even to rent. I was wondering what you guys thought if I just bunched some fabric up in the middle of the table with the center pieces on it (we using big hurricane globes with a candle and a wreath of flowers around the bottom), to add a splash of color to the the stark white tablecloths?? Or do any of you know where I can buy or rent reasonable priced tablecloth overlays/squares. Also the room is very plain that we are using for our reception site. So any ideas will be welcomed. I had thought about carving out pumpkins and placing a pot of mums down inside of them and setting them on rented pedestals around the room. Thanks Guys!

I would like to transfer our picture to a candle and place ribbon around it. What do you think? The wedding colors are black and white. the candles will be white and the photo will be black and white. pillar candles of various sizes will serve as centerpieces. did i mention i am not a flower loving girl. the wedding is in the fall and well be held around dusk.

I need some help with my flower girl dress? My 5 year old niece is my flower girl and I'm having a hard time finding the right dress. Even though she's a bit of a tomboy she's been a doll about the whole thing and has helped me pick out some dresses. Should we take pictures BEFORE or AFTER the actual ceremony? We're trying to decide whether to do our pictures before or after the wedding. It's going to be in the late afternoon & into the evening at a winery in the fall. I want to be sure to get all the beautiful colors that will be in the landscaping and don't want it to be too dark outside. However, I never thought of myself as a bride who would see the groom before she walked down the aisle? Although, I don't think I've really ever thought twice about it. I'm starting to question that now and would love to hear people's opinions. Any great ideas of how to make that first time he sees me special and romantic if it's not as I walk down the aisle? I'm starting to think that fresh make-up (because I will cry!), fresh flowers and no wait time for my guests sounds pretty good to me! Convince me! Or more importantly, convince him, as he's more of the traditionalist.

Can I have curly willow or similar type branches for summer wedding? My fiance requested that our centerpieces be tall and possibly branches such as curly willow or pussy willow. Our colors are red, black and white so he suggested that the branches be in one of those colors. I've only seen this done in fall or winter weddings since the season matches the decor. However, we have a lot of home decor with these types of branches in our own home and LOVE how they look. Would it be appropriate for an August wedding? I'm not much of a flower person, I love flowers in gardens but not in bouquets so much. I'd take branches and/or candles any day. Also, we're trying to stay on a small wedding floral budget and hopefully I can make these centerpieces myself. Would it be fine or would it look completely out of season? Know of any good pictures online that I could get ideas from? Also, would guests want to as a take-home centerpiece? Not sure what we'd do with 15 centerpieces. cheap place to find bridal ivory colored tiara and/or veil?? Hi! I'm trying to find a cheap-ish, but pretty ivory tiara & veil. I'd really love to have some sort of floral design, with flowers and pearls or something with the tiara. Prefered not a big tiara..nothing too outlandish. I tried on, and fell in love with a tiara at Davids Bridal but it's $200 :( same thing with the veil! Looking for a veil that's about elbow length, two tier.
