What are nice wedding Flowers for a summer wedding in the UK? I am getting married next year and I want a few ideas of what flowers are nice to use for a summer UK wedding. I like peony roses and tulips.

Flower/wedding colors for a summer wedding with a champagne gown and taupe and champagne bm dresses? I am getting married next august and my gown is champagne satin. Flowers with blue bridesmaid dresses at an outdoor summer country (but not too country) wedding? We are having an outdoor ceremony at a little country Bed and Breakfast this summer, and I want to find some flowers that are not too formal, but not too country (a.k.a. wildflowers). I love wildflowers, but I want this to be just a notch above being that country and simple. It is my wedding, after all! :) I love daisies, roses, sweet pea (that's what my mom has always called me), sunflowers, ranunculus, gerbera daisies, and mini calla lilies. The color also has to look okay with the red roof on the B&B (but no red flowers please, just colors that would look okay and not clash with the red roof since we are thinking about having the ceremony leading up the steps of the house.) What flowers are available for a fall wedding? I have been preparing for a summer wedding all year but now I will not be able to have my wedding until late October, early November 2007 because I can't get my fiance here until then because of visa technicalities. I was wondering what kinds of plants and flowers are available for that time of year? I know florists can get you just about anything but I am working with a smaller budget and was thinking about buying potted plants and flowers from a nursery to add greenery and color. The wedding will be outside so I need some plants to liven up our garden that will be mostly dormant by that time. This has been very last minute news and I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions?

Summer Wedding? Ok once again i'm in a panic, now instead of April of next year were trying for a September of this year wedding. i need flower ideas for my Summer wedding? Okay, My bridemaids dresses are a cranberry red color. I really like the Stargazed pink lily- thats main flower. So i do want maybe a red or white rose in there but either a pale yellow or orange flower. My prob is i not to good with picking out a summer season flower. What wedding flowers should I have? I have an off white chiffon covered wedding dress with a train and some off white pearls on it. I am having a summer wedding and my bridesmaid and flower girls are wearing royal blue. The wedding will be in a japanese garden and I chose blue because the place it self has a lot of blue. My ideas are blue orchids(which I believe are dyed) blue roses (also dyed) or just cream roses for everyone. Recommendations for Silk Flowers For My Wedding? I am really giving some thought to having silk flowers for my wedding for a number of reasons...it's an outdoor summer wedding so real flowers will lilt AND attract bees PLUS...I am allergic to fresh flowers. What should I do about my wedding flowers? My fiancee's mom offered to do my flowers. She thought it would be a good project for her since she had a brain anyeurism last summer and can no longer work. I got together pics and showed her what I wanted and she said no problem. The thing is, she's finished my bmaids flowers (supposed to be bouquest of calla lilies, very simple looking) and they are calla lily pins with a rose at the bottom. Now, we talked about that for the guys but I guess she got confused (she's very forgettful since her anyeurism, to the point of calling 3 or 4 times in a row to ask the same question). Well now my sisters who are my bmaids are complaining about having to pin something to their dresses since they're paying for the dresses. I'm sad that the flowers won't be the way I'd hoped, but have pretty much gotten over that. I am just sick of hearing my sisters gripe about how I should tell my fmil to redo the flowers and I don't want to hurt my fmil's feelings over something this silly. What should I do?

What would be a good wedding color flower palette for this theme? The colors in the wedding are grey and yellow. But, it is not a bright flashy yellow, but a soft butter type of yellow. Are there "No, No's" when choosing wedding flowers/themes depending on the time of year? I am getting married in Rome, Italy in June. Ceremony and reception will take place at sunset, on the penthouse terrace, overlooking the eternal city. The hotel is one of the top rated in the world. We are envisioning a small, ultra elegant, black tie affair. I would like to carry a cascading red rose bouquet, and have the terrace adorned with white and red roses and pedals. I've read that red roses are for winter weddings and lighter color roses for spring/summer. Is the color theme I envision too harsh or inappropriate for a June wedding? The wedding planner thinks I should carry all white roses but I'd like a contrast against the dress. My matron of honor would carry red and white roses and wear a red dress(so I plan). My fiance will wear a black tux of course with a red silk vest and tie. Should I rethink the flowers and color theme? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Wedding Flowers - Reasonable Budget? Hi All, I am getting married in the Summer and my fiance and I are up to our necks planning the big event. One of things we are organising at the moment is the flowers. My fiance wants a nice boquet, along with smaller ones for the 2 bridesmaids, then there is table decorations for 8 tables at the afternoon reception. After visiting a florist, she has come back to us with a quote of around £350 - does this sound reasonable ? Any opinions appreciated.

Can I have curly willow or similar type branches for summer wedding? My fiance requested that our centerpieces be tall and possibly branches such as curly willow or pussy willow. Our colors are red, black and white so he suggested that the branches be in one of those colors. I've only seen this done in fall or winter weddings since the season matches the decor. However, we have a lot of home decor with these types of branches in our own home and LOVE how they look. Would it be appropriate for an August wedding? I'm not much of a flower person, I love flowers in gardens but not in bouquets so much. I'd take branches and/or candles any day.
