Anyone have advice for fall wedding flowers? I'd like to use real flowers, mostly. My main color right now is a wine/burgundy color but I am open to using other colors in my arrangements. I'm not sure what flowers are in season at that time. I don't want to spend a large amount of $ on flowers and am not afraid of keeping arrangements simple. I just need suggestions on flowers, colors and ways I should consider arranging them. Thanks!!

Flowers for September fall themed wedding ?? Im really lost on the flowers. Im not a girly girl so I don't ever buy flowers, get flowers etc. I like them but just could careless to buy them to sit in my house. That being said I do have girl in me and want nice flowers for me and the bridesmaids, but have no clue what kinds go together or even what they are called. I looked online and have found some pictures but I dont know what the flowers are. Im having a fall themed wedding so the golds, oranges, browns, greens and reds. Please help with telling me which ones to put together. The names of them ~ im really lost. And I want mine real but the others silk so should I wait until fall flowers come out in July - Sept or is there any way I can just use what they have out now and make the silk ones? Fall Wedding? So I think im almost done planning in the decorating department.. here is what I have so far -Maple candy shaped in maple leafs for the wedding favors. -Carved out pumpkins with fake fall colored flowers inside them for centre pieces. (pumpkin acts as vase) -Hay bails and corn stocks in a corner with a basket of apples. -For the head table have a string of maple leafs twisted with a string of lights along the edge of the table. Can anyone think of any other creative ways to decorate with a fall theme in mind? Possibly ways to number the tables? Yes Jenny I have thought about the smell of the pumpkins, I am debating fake ones.. but if there is a way to cover up the smell, which by the way usually isnt THAT bad anyways, I will do it. Help with flowers for Fall wedding....? I'll preface this by saying that I am not a rose kinda girl. It would be so much easier if I was but I'm not. Colors are deep plumy purple, pumpkin orange, chocolate brown, and white. I really want a clean look so something that would look great as a single stem is a bonus. Fall flowers...? We're doing an early fall wedding and I was wondering what flowers would go well with orange orchids. Wedding month/colors/flowers, does it all have to match? we had a date set for may, 2010. however, my soon to be brother in law is getting deployed march-september in 2010. i had all my colors and flowers and everything set for a spring wedding and now i have to do a winter or fall wedding or wait until 2011, which is almost out of the question. doing it without his brother is also out of the question... my question is, does it matter if your colors/flowers dont really match the season you're getting married in? im just worried about the cost of the flowers. i want gerber daisies and im worried they are going to be expensive to get when they aren't in season. im also getting married by the beach, and im worried that its going to be cold! granted it IS california, but i dont know. stressing.

How do I preserve flowers from my wedding? The wedding was June 17. They have been hanging upside down since then and are dried out. Do I spray them with hairspray to keep them from falling apart? I would just like to keep them as nice as possible. I realize this is not a professional job. Any help to keep them looking the way they are and not fall apart would be appreciated.

Fall wedding... need advice!? Hi, im getting married October 3rd, 2009. Im duing a fall colored theme since it will be in fall and outside when the foliage is changing colors :) Instead of flower petals, my flower girls will be throwing fake autumn color leaves, and I also plan to have autumn leaf garland covering the arch. I would like some flowers in the mix on the arch, so what would be best - orange/yellow roses? Do you think thats what I should do for the bouttoneirs? Also, my original plan was to have each girl wear a different fall colored dress. Well I'm scratching that idea because it is just too hard to find the same style dress in the colors I want. So now Im trying to decide, which color would look best? A chocolate brown, a wine color, or gold? Wedding colors for Fall 2007? Any Suggestions to improve PINK as a fall color? I really want "pink" to be the color of my wedding party but I am running into some problems. We just booked the wedding for Nov 3, 2007. I was considering letting them wear david's bridal pick your own top and bottom. They only have a two pinks- a light one and a fushia one. Everyone hates the fushia one and I can't blame them- it's a funny purple color in person and looks terrible on everyone. I am considering letting them wear the light pink tops with black skirts... but looking at the lay out now.. it's not very fall looking. I am started to plan out the flowers and favors so I need to get a color theme together. Anyone have any suggestion to how I can make pink look more fall? Or should I change the color to a red or garnet?- the only reason I don't want to do this is I think it will look like everyone else fall wedding. My FI and his friends don't have any problems with wearing a little pink. I like the brown idea!
