Wedding favor boxes...? Hi all! I was hoping to get some ideas from all you brides-to-be.... for our wedding favors I want to give small 2 tiered cakes, one for each guest. Godiva Wedding Favor? Okay so I have been wishy washy with what I want to do as a wedding favor. I think I have made up my mind. I would love to give chocolate truffles as a favor. I thought about Godiva, but just went on their site and saw their favors starting at $3.75 (this is prepackaged). Has anyone ever seen Godiva chocolates packaged in anything but the Godiva boxes? Creative wedding favor idea...but how do I present without being cheesy? O.k., I have a GREAT wedding favor idea... or at least I think so. Hershey Kisses & Jelly beans for wedding favor? A friend of mine will like to give hershey kisses as well as jelly beans as her wedding favor. How can she wrap this up to be presented? Wedding Cupcake Favor Rhyme? We need help with a little rhyme to go with our specially baked cupcakes in a jar we are giving to our wedding guests as favors. Is this a cute idea for a wedding favor/activity? At my shower, I got a gift from my fiance's Aunt. It is a recipe notebook that has sleeves to put recipe cards in with a ton of blank cards. I have a TON of store bought cookbooks that I barely use. I am also not much of a cook. Never really learned much. Odds are pretty slim that I would be jotting down any recipes that I come up with. Typically, I open a box or can, sprinkle in some seasoned salt and call it dinner. So I was trying to come up with a way to USE her gift. There are a ton of those blank recipe cards in the book, and she included MORE cards separately. My idea is to come up with a cute poem or something asking each couple to share a favorite recipe with us and have them either add it to the card box, or mail it to us later. Then, if at least some of the guests do return the card, I will end up with a cookbook that is full of recipes from our friends and family. Any ideas? Any suggestions on how to make this cute? I think it would have been a good thing for the shower too. But considering it was a gift that I got AT the shower, it was kind of late. Jamaica/Caribbean Style Wedding Favors? We are incorporating Jamaica into our reception because it has a very special place in our hearts and because of that are adding personal touches to our wedding. I already know what I'm doing for the favors ( making a box out of wood and putting sand in the box, tying their place cards to sand dollars and sticking them in the sand) but I wanted to do a little something else. Initially I was going to buy sugar cane (i found a really great site that sells caseloads and it's very inexpensive sugarcaneswizzlesticks.com) and I was going to take a few sticks per person, wrap in celluphane, tie with a ribbon and place at each persons table setting. Unfortunately I'd be taking a risk b/c the lady told me that sugarcane may not last that long like that and it might dry up like sticks..... PLEASE help me come up with another cute/inexpensive/island inspired possibly edible favor to have at each person's place setting. THANK YOU!!!

What are some easy do it yourself wedding souvenir ideas? I once saw a poem that thanked the guests for coming & you could attach it to a box that contained the favor. It said something about the box containing love & appreciation for the guest. Anybody know of this?
