Help with wedding decorations? I already have an idea of what I want which is a butterfly/garden theme wedding and reception. I want the wedding out doors with white chairs for people to sit on but I want to accent them with something like flowers or bows in a differnt color. The flower girls will be wearing nice dresses with fairy wings and will drop pastel flower petals on the grass isle. I want the reception to be indoors but am unsure how to pull the whole look together. Light pink, purple, green, and yellow come to my mind when I think butterfly/garden. I wanted to have flower centerpieces in light colors then a few flowers with a pop of bright color I also am going to put butterflys in the centerpieces. I am not sure what color table cloths I was thinking light green but will this work? I want it to have a garden/butterfly feel but also be clean and somewhat modern.. how can I pull this off? I want to have light colors but also a pop of color in some places. What colors should I use on what things? Also I am not getting married anytime soon but I would like to have atleast an idea of what I want to do. Probably 4 years from now.. My whole point is I don't want to have to figure it all out when the time comes I want to have an idea and money to have it. I am far to young to get married although I have been dating a guy for 4 years. I want to have a steady job and money before we do anything.

Wedding cupcake/cake decoration tips..? Me and my fiance decided to have a cupcake tier and a mini. cake on the top. The thing is we are making it ourselves. The baking part will be easy but decorating is another thing. I want to have flowers or maybe butterflies. Especially since the place we are getting married is famous of monarch butterflies. We have thought much about the decoration of the cake and cupcakes. But I have no idea where to start. I know it would be hard to do, but I want it to look somewhat professional. Any one knows a website that shows how to make fancy looking flowers or any kind of fancy cake/cupcake decorations?? Or maybe can just explain how to do the fancy looking decorating?

Wedding day attire?? Wedding Colour?? Arrgghhh!!? Our wedding is in early July. It is my 2nd and his 1st. We're having it at home and alls pretty well under control EXCEPT I have no idea what I will b wearing. And I want 2 choose colours but until I know what to wear, I just dont know. What kind of things do people wear for a 2nd wedding in winter? What kind of colours? I guess I need to go out and shop but I just have no idea what I want to wear or what to look for. :-( Absolutely no idea. I want to kind of theme the day around the beach because we met at the beach and our invites have embossed gold shells we're using driftwood, shells and bali flags decorations, I was kind of thinking of yellow and aqua or turquiose theme colours, but dont want 2 buy anything in these colours yet cos I dont want them to clash with what we are wearing. If I did use these colours, what colour gown would go? Yellow will definitely be used, as we are doing a butterfly release and the butterflies are yellow. Can anyone help with some ideas please?

Need your opinions...? I am doing a butterfly wedding theme. In June. My colors are David's bridal pool (aqua) white silver. I wanted to give each table there own specific butterfly. Ex: Monarch-the table would have monarch favors, monarch decorations and a little info about the monarch butterfly. the next table would be swallowtail butterfly etc. Do you think that this would crash my wedding colors? Should I just stick with white aqua and silver butterflies? and not the table theme? Is there a creative way to do them both? Thanks!!!

"Tossing" favors for wedding guests? Ok, planning on an autumn wedding in 2009. Neither of us are into the rice or seeds... too late for butterflies (not to mention they cost too much!!!), and he doesn't like bubbles (too sticky he says) Anyone have any other suggestions? WE are going for a full out fall theme... I've always dreamed of this certain decoration with pumpkins & I love autumn colors :-) Anyone think of anything else that you "throw" @ the bride & groom as they leave?? Butterflies or beach theme...is both too much? I cant decide...I want to decorate for our small wedding at home. I want it to be pretty and special, even if we are going with informal. I am torn tho with what theme to do. I adore butterflies and I would love to incorporate them into the decorations....but we met at the beach and I love blue and would love a beach theme too. Would it be too much to have both? I kinda thought I could decorate the tables by using some tiny shells and maybe each table could have a piece of driftwood with maybe a butterfly, and shells and perhaps a starfish or something. I am pretty creative so I am sure I could do this tastefully. Is using both too much? I just cant decide which to do. I love both.
