Need to find a little wedding chapel and reception site in San Antonio. Any ideas or suggestions? My fiance is stationed at Ft Bliss Texas and I live in Oklahoma. We'd like to marry in his home town, San Antonio. I would like to find a quaint little wedding chapel that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Our guestlist will be small. Approx. 40-50. We also need to find a reception place. We are incorporating the help of his family members to do the catering and such. We'll need barbeque grills at the reception site. The tentative wedding date is Saturday, November 25, 2006. Serious replies only please. Thanks.
Do you think getting married at the little white wedding chapel in las vegas with elvis singing is tacky? I think it would be so much fun and i think that is what the day is about, it's only a piece of paper after all, it doesnt make you feel any different about your partner. i think its different and would be a hoot, plus for flighs/accommodation etc its gonna cost far less than a wedding would here, i so wanna do it, but my mum is all like no, but its my wedding not hers lol and it would be fantastic! actually this question is worded wrong, because its obviously tacky, but i think thats part of the fun anf experience.
Can Canadians get quickie wedding in Vegas? Does anyone have info about whether it's legal for Canadians to get married in Las Vegas? Would we have to get a license or anything ahead of time? In a few months we're going down for 2 nights and we thought it would be fun to get hitched in one of those cute/tacky little wedding chapels. Any info would be appreciated!
I need some help deciding, wedding in vegas? Ok, let me explain a bit about what I am looking for in terms of what I want to do. I don't really even want to "walk down an isle" I just want to rent a dress and stand there and get married and what not.. I dont need to dance or do all that stuff.. I am pretty simple, it will be just my fiancee and I and I just basically want to wear a dress and get pictures. ha. I definately don't want to be cheesy though and do the elvis thing.. so here is a list of all the chapels, if someone could give me some advice on some of these places, like go here or stay away from this place.. etc.. Does anyone know of a Las Vegas style wedding chapel in Western WA or Idaho? 10th wedding anniversary ~ renewing our vows. We want to renew our vows in a fun way and love the idea of a little Las Vegas style wedding chapel where we can bring our Collie and Phalene as Maid of Honor and Best Man. Can't seem to find anything in either Washington State or Idaho. Does anyone know any wedding chapel in either WA of ID? (actually closer to either Camano Island/Stanwood, WA or Idaho Falls, ID) All we can find are church type wedding chapels.
How do I get over someone that hurt me during my wedding time? I have been married a little over a year now, but it still hurts when I think about how my sister treated me when I told her that I was getting married. My co workers were pretty mean too, I told them that I didn't have a lot of money to have a big wedding and they wouldn't speak to me until I invited them. I got married at a little wedding chapel and had to cross off family members so that they could go instead. The oldest of the co workers treated me really bad for a long time after that, even though she was eventually invited. We are all ok now, but when I think about it, I feel hurt and angry still. How do I get over this.
What do i have to produce to marry in vegas? I`m traveling to vegas from england for a short break with my partner ...and we plan to marry there we are both divorced and we need to know what we have to show. And do we need a licence for a little chapel wedding?
Vegas Hotel Wedding Chapels? My fiance and I are considering a possible Vegas wedding if we can't find a good venue in my home state. I want to know about the various wedding chapels in the hotels on the Vegas Strip. I don't want the little white wedding chapels, I want to know what are people's experiences with the chapels in the big hotels. What is the chapel like in the Luxor, Tropicana, Bellagio, TI, Excaliber, etcetera, etcetera. Any picture links would be much appreciated! If you got married there, could you mention pluses and minuses, and if you would choose that chapel again? Thanks all!!!
Anyone know anything about Drew Barrymore's Vegas wedding? I know one of Drew Barrymore's weddings (years ago) took place at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Are there any articles or information about it anywhere? I'm just curious about any details about it that might be out there or any pictures.
Las Vegas Chapel Wedding? For those of you who have been married or attended a wedding ceremony at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, what is your opinion on that place? Most "affordable" chapels in Vegas are tacky, plastic, and kind of on the cheesy side.
Know of a great chapel in Vegas to get married? My fiance and I are going to get married in Vegas to save on $$$ (we'd like to put a down payment down on a house instead of throwing a huge wedding). Does anyone recommend a wedding chapel there? We're going there specifically to get married, so we don't want anything sleezy looking, or too "tacky" (but of course a little bit of tackiness is expected when marrying in Vegas). We were looking into the Little Chapel of the West, and Chapel of the Flowers. Anybody have any experience with them, recommend someone different?
I need some advice, which should I choose in vegas? Ok, let me explain a bit about what I am looking for in terms of what I want to do. Small, simple Wedding chapels in Dallas/Frisco, TX area? My fiance and I are getting married December 2009 and we want a very simple, intimate wedding in a small chapel or church. Something old, like the little white churches or chapels you see in the older movies...nothing expensive, we are going for low budget. Just a small white chapel or church with wooden pews. Anyone have any idea?
Have any Wedding Ideas? My fiancé and I want to get married and we are on a budget. He only has 4 people in his family that could possibly come to the wedding. We want a small wedding. He thinks we should buy one of those wedding packages from a little chapel (we live in NC). They are supposed to provide everything for a reasonable price but I’m not sure if that’s what I want to do. I’m not sure of any other alternatives though. Any suggestions?
married in las vegas...can i get easy annullment? I was married in Clark county back in 2001. I thought it was called Cupid's Little Wedding Chapel, but the only one I see is Cupid's Chapel. Anyway, I am now divorced. Recently I became engaged to a filipina who wishes to be married in a Catholic church. In order to marry in a Catholic Church, my first marriage may need to be annulled. Our marriages performed in Las Vegas considered civil weddings because they are not performed in the church? Because the time involved in getting my annulment changes depending on what kind of ceremony it was and if its recognized by the church. I hope this makes sense. Anyway, I need to know if marriages at Cupids Wedding Chapels are considered civil because they are not performed in a church. Im really confused at this point, and any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated by my fiancée and I. Thanks again
How does this sound for a wedding in Las Vegas in May 2007? I need your opinion. We are on a tight budget, but I think this sounds cool- Everything from this point will be paid for by the bride and groom. We will marry at the Little Chapel of the Flowers at 5 p.m. in May. After the wedding, everyone go to a buffet-one on the strip within walking distance from the Chapel. After the buffet, everyone come to our hotel suite at the Stratosphere for cake and a champaigne toast. After all of this-and paid for by the people that want to do it, go to The Top of the Stratoshere Hotel Lounge and watch the sunset at 7:40. After this, go to Polly Esters dance club for dancing.
Atheist marrying in a church? Ok, eventually my boyfriend and I will marry sooner than later. Here's the kicker. I'm atheist; he's at least agnostic. We don't really care about religion though our families do. His father is Catholic, but raised by his mother's beliefs of Baptist. I was raised Catholic but now I believe what I believe. My mother still is in denial saying I'm at most agnostic <shakes head>. I always wanted to get married outside because I'm outdoorsy. My bf always thought he would marry in a church, but more for his parents' sake than his. He just thinks it is normal. Thinking about it more, I wouldn't mind a ceremony in a church or chapel, but I already have an officiant in mind (family friend back home) who won't inject God into it. I believe churches are beautiful, but all the beautiful ones in Dallas are Catholic and bf and I are a big no-no there. The little wedding chapels around here suck so that only leaves actual churches. Anyone have an ideas what religion would allow us in? P.S. - We don't want to become members of the church P.P.S. - Anyone who knows anywhere in Dallas would be a great help.
Wedding spots in southern California? My sweetie, 3 children and I will be going on a family vacation to Disneyland/San Diego area in the beginning of April 2009 and were hoping to incorporate our marriage. We would like a beautiful spot perhaps on the beach at sunset, on horseback or a little chapel or something like that would be wonderful. We are willing to travel a couple hours from Los Angeles. We're from Alberta and haven't traveled much so any input is greatly appreciated.
Your opinion counts. How does this sound for a wedding in Las Vegas in May 2007? We are on a tight budget, but we think this sounds cool- Everything from this point will be paid for by the bride and groom. We will marry at the Little Chapel of the Flowers at 3:30 p.m. in May. After the wedding, everyone go to a buffet-one on the strip within walking distance from the Chapel. After the buffet, everyone come to our hotel suite at the Stratosphere (again, within a short walking distance) for cake and a champaigne toast. My maid of honor will pass along the word that if people want to go along with the bride and groom and all in the wedding party they are welcome-if they pay their own way- to The Top of the Stratoshere Hotel Lounge and watch the sunset at 7:40. After this, we will all go to the dance club called Polly Esters (in the Stratosphere).
Chapels in Vegas? Looking for a nice chapel.....not in a hotel. I have looked at ALL the websites, Little chapel of the west, white wedding chapel, etc, etc, etc, and they all look so blah. Am looking for one that is at least semi nice on the inside. Anyone have any suggestions?
if you plan on getting married in vegas? if anyone is planning on getting married in vegas, and are planning on "the little white wedding chapel" to get married at, dont!!! my sister just attended a "wedding" there and said that it was horrible. if you are planning on getting married there and were planning on renting tuxedo's from there i say dont do that either!!!! my sister's brother in law who was the one getting married rented his tux, put his hand in the pocket of the jacket and pulled out a used joint. how rediculas is that??? just proves that they dont clean their tuxedoes after they were rented. if you want to get married in vegas, fine, but id highly advise to avoid "the little white wedding chapel"
What are some good ideas for a wedding and reception on a budget? I am getting married in June of next year and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for colors, (I know I want an Aqua blue but what goes with that), inexpensive tricks and tips for having an elegant wedding on a budget. Here is what we know we have : a cute little chapel that is already decorated beautifully and needs nothing more than maybe some pew decorations, the reception is at the bed and breakfast a block away and will be outside in the garden area. They provide the minister, tables, chairs, linens an arch and a gazebo and we are having my finances parents cater since they own a restaurant in town and thats about it. I need some ideas I have no idea what goes into planning a wedding.
How could I find a pastor for my wedding? I am getting married in September 2009 and my fiance and I don't really attend church very much but we want to get married in a little chapel and we don't know where to find a pastor to officiate our wedding w/out having to join a specific church. I grew up catholic and don't really know any pastors that are still preaching that i would have known from back in the day and the pastor from my fiance old church was really good friends with his ex wife so that just feels kinda weird having him do our ceremony. so is there an easy way to find a pastor to officiate our wedding without having to join a specific church??
Help me plan the best Vegas Wedding please!!!? My fiance and I have been in a committed relationship for 3 years. We have decided, as we both been married before, that we know what is most important...not an $$$ wedding. With that said we have decided to elope in Vegas. I thought, yes this was a little cheesy, but there are some pretty chapels their. Please lend your advise on the following if you have any experience with Vegas weddings (No mean comments please!) - We have narrowed it to the Little Chapel of the West or Mon Bel Ami. Any experience? - Is there a bakery that will deivery a cake to our room. And will the hotel put it in our room if we are not their? - What is a good hotel not over about $150 night? We are going on weekdays and were thinking Paris or the Venetian? -Where is a romantic place for the 2 of us to go to dinner afterwards? - Reasonalble place for him to get a suit close by? - Reasonable place to get my hair done other than hotel? -Any other thoughts on what your would recommend

Invitations For A Vegas Wedding...? any ideas for wording, I know not everyone I invite will be able to make it, I was wondering how do I word the invitations, I was thinking something like, Please join us as we say "I DO" etc. etc and then some reference to the chapel {Little Chapel of the Flowers} in Las Vegas ~ We are planning on having a large reception when we return perhaps in a week or two of the actual wedding...How should the reception invite be worded {I guess that would be easier}; PLEASE HELP, I dont even know if I'm asking the right questions....!

I would like it to be outside or in a little chapel, but I am having a hard time finding what I am looking for. Someone HELP!!!!!!! thanks! I was trying to find somewhere in south austin. I am going to have the reception at my aunts house but I really wanted to have the ceremony somewhere else. I really wanted to do it in a garden like setting. I really dont want to pay a lot, and most places have you rent it for a minimum amount of hours...
How to find a hair stylist in Las Vegas? I am getting married on the 26. Yeah I know, this month. I am such a big procrastinator. Anyway I am looking for someone who can do my hair for the wedding. I don't want anything too fancy just up in the front and curls going down my back. I live in Texas so it is not possible for me to check out the different salons in person. If you know of a good way to fing a stylist out of town or know a good one in Vegas that would be great. Also I would like them to not be too expensive, like I said befor it is not going to be too fancy. We are only getting married in The Little White Chapel. Thanks for the help.
Good wedding ceremony venue for February? Lower mainland BC (CANADA) Delta area best but not a must. Preferably not too expensive. Small intimate wedding approx. 40 -50 guests. Fiance would like church or chapel. A little older would be nice as well. Hoping for something traditional. We are more spiritual then religous therefore a church or chapel that will allow any demonination is best (probably the only type that would take us) We would do it anywhere my fiance would just prefer a church or chapel setting.
Any suggestions for a girl who just wants to be married to her man without all the fuss? Okay, we have been living together for 4 years. We know we are getting married, but the problem is how. We have both been married previously so neither one of us is interested in a big wedding. He has a 10 yr old and I have a 6 yr old from our previous marriages. We were thinking of making a weekend out of it and just packing up the boys and heading to a little chapel somewhere. Kind of like eloping, but we want the boys to be a part of it. It's their family too. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks for reading! We live in N.E. Georgia. Nowhere near Vegas, lol.
Hi,I trying to plan a 10 Th anniversary party some easy ,fun, with very little money. I need of some ideas.? Like everyone else ,we have very little money to spend on this special day.Our anniversary is on the 13Th of Nov, We had it on friday 13Th it was raining really hard that nite..but it was very sweet .A wonderful chapel wedding with only candles lights & our family. But now our family has really grown since then, with six grandkids that we just enjoy so much. My husband and I also want to share this day with them,so we have to make it fun ,easy & as sweet as the day we got married. but both of us are always working, that I don't have that much time to plan for this. I really need some easy, fun, but adorable..I hope someone could give me some needed help...thank you !!!
How do I tell my family that my fiancee and I eloped? We are flying to California for vacation, and while we are there taking a road trip to Reno to tie the knot. Most of my family wants a traditional wedding for me, but we know that none of us will be able to afford it. So we're doing a quick ceremony in a little chapel in Reno. I want to tell them when I get back, but how in the world do I do it? And how do I let the rest of the family know? Most of them live several hours away and it's not practical to drive over and show them the rings. But I don't want to just call. Any in-between ideas? Thanks!
I need some fun ideas for short-distance wedding transportation!? My fiancee and I are getting married next June. The reception is being held about 300 feet from the chapel. We're expecting all of the guests to walk, but she doesn't really want to hitch up her wedding dress and walk the 300 feet, and it's too short for something like a car or carriage or hansome cab. We were thinking of something fun, like a Segway or a little Vespa or something. However, we're also trying to stay within a modest price range (few hundred $$). Any suggestions? Depending on how fun/useful it is, we might also use it to get the 1.2 miles from the reception to our hotel room (the wedding is at a hotel)
Need Advice????? Im getting married and i have had the Wedding Chapel booked for over a year. With a set date.My fiance' has family all over Texas that his Mom talks to everyday. And hardly any of them are coming to the Wedding. But they have the money to drive down for a fishing trip they booked a few moths ago. My fiances mother has told her side of the family all kinds of horrible stuff about him because he wouldn't testify against his dad to benefit his mom.All of the family from Texas was calling my fiance a coward because he wouldn't put his Dad down. And i think there still bitter about all that.My fiances mother told me that she didn't know the set date until bout 4 months ago.We have had the chapel booked little over a year and we made an appt for her to look at after we booked it. What should i do?

Is this a good deal for a wedding package? I was looking at this for an option for my wedding, but I'm not sure if that is a good deal or what else I would need if I got this package- besides groom's tux and bride's dress, favors, etc. Look at this website: http://www.twu.edu/o-sl/confservices/WedPackage.html If you have had a wedding at The Little Chapel in the Woods, or used this package could you tell me of your experience? Thanks I would only have 50 guest and I'm not looking to have a very elaborate wedding. I was planning on making additional decorations myself or finding some premade at hobby stores. I wouldn't be buying like crazy expensive stuff. Regular price for the chapel is about 500 and it is normally booked all the time. The reception place is normally about the same price. But it is very pretty. The ARAMARK is the food service of the college- and yes they serve alcohol. Besides, I'm not really for alcohol- especially with the family I'll be dealing with. The last thing I want is a bunch of drunks running around. We were going to have a friend play piano for us so that we would have entertainment. Oh ya, and candy haven's wedding cakes can normally run about $160 a slice.
My husband is the best man at his friend's wedding this summer...? and we all live in Missouri. The wedding is in Las Vegas at a crappy little elvis chapel. The wedding party are the only people invited, and i'm not included. I'm going to be eight months pregnant when my husband flies out to las vegas without me. The reason they don't want me to go is that i'm not 21, pregnant, and i'll ruin the "festivities" of gambling and drinking...and going to strip clubs. I don't want my husband to go without me there to make sure he isn't fornicating with some dirty skank. What should I do? His friend insists that he should be the best man. His friend is normally very sweet and kind, and i'm sure he would like me there. It's the guy's fiancee that doesn't like me. She doesn't give a sh** that i'm pregnant. I trust my husband's sober judgement, but i've never seen him drunk. I don't know what he would do if he got completely sauced.
Has anyone had a decent wedding in Vegas? My friend wants to get married in Vegas, but she doesnt want a little white chapel with Elvis to marry them, she wants to maybe get married at the Grand Canyon, with a bridesmaid and a best man. She wants a cake and a photographer, and obv somewhere nice for dinner. Any ideas how much this will cost and where to begin planning/booking!?!? Should hae said she's from Scotland!
I'm going to Vegas in June, who wants to go with? Bellagio, a spa, drinking, gambling and shows oh my. If I find a cowboy who's had a lucky night at one of the tables I may just run off to the Wee Little Wedding Chapel O Love I'm seriously going, too. Momma needs a vacation and the kids will be with the Donor so Lost Wages here I come!
Song lyrics for a old Tennessee Wedding Country Song? Something along the lines of how he really wants to marry this girl, in a little chapel in tennessee. He wakes the preacher up in the middle of the night- and she's barefoot in her wedding dress.. Any ideas?! Thanks!
We're having a small wedding, would it be ok to make a donation rather then have favors? We're having a small wedding with around 75 guests in August, we will have a simple ceremony in a chapel and a get together afterwards on the bay at the resort we will be staying at. Of course there will be great food, a to-die-for cake, a bonfire, drinks and fun all around, do you think people will mind if we skip favors? I know alot of people make donations and we would LOVE to make a donation to the Alzeimers Assoc. and Prostate cancer foundation because my grandfather passed away 6 months ago from both of those illnesses. What do you think? I could definitely do favors of jordan mints, or some type of seashell something, but I think to my family it would mean more to make a larger donation in my grandfathers name. Will our guests feel jipped? We're having the wedding 1.5 hours from where we live where my whole family (roughly 40 of the 75) will be staying where the reception is so all others have to travel a little bit, will them leaving empty handed be a bad thing?
How do I let my boyfriend know that I need to start making wedding plans without pressuring him to propose? My boyfriend of 5 years and I have a chapel reserved to get married in a little over a year from now. I'm finishing up college and applying to graduate school while holding down two jobs, so I don't have much free time to devote to wedding plans and it would really help to start soon, but I feel like I shouldn't start planning until everything is official (i.e. until we're engaged). But I don't want to pressure my boyfriend into proposing or ruin any plans he has with my impatience, but at the same time, it seems dishonest for me to hide the pressures I'm beginning to feel from him.
Tips on planning a cheap wedding?? My parents are giving us 5,000 to have the wedding. We're going to have it at the chapel on the campus where we both graduated college from, but as far as the reception goes, i'm completely clueless. I'll be wearing the dress my mom and grandmother wore, but change it a little because its very 80's, so i'm only anticipating paying for alterations to rework the dress. its going to be for around 120 people, and the reception can be kind of casual, extra formal isn't our style. we're not too concerned with a cake or anything either. a sheet cake will suffice lol. i would say the most important things that we want to spend money on are photography, some (not a lot) flowers, and the reception. any tips would help =)
Need some ideas on where to renew vows in vegas? Hubby and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year and would like to renew our vows. We were married in Tahoe but the place no longer exists. One of my all time fav singers is performing in vegas so we were thinking of going to vegas instead, or spending time in both, lol. But I don't want to renew our vows in your typical Vegas wedding chapel. I want a quaint, romantic little place away from it all. It will just be the two of us. Any ideas? Actually, if we can swing it oney wise, we would like to include our kids if we can so it woudl not be just the two of us after all. S'Mores for a wedding favor?!? HELP! 10 points for the most help...? OK, so I am having a wedding in July and it is going to be held in a chapel. The place is nice and sophisticated ( for my city nature) and very rustic and country style (my fiancee is a country boy through and through). It is an estate with a chapel on the land, and the main house is used for the reception... We are both the outdoors type and we are young (23)... everyone knows that camping is our favorite past time. Because of this, we were thinking of making little smore kits as a favor for our family and friends. We have quite a bit of guests, 150... (we have been together for over 8 years, high school sweethearts) I only have 2 problems/questions.... 1. Our theme is using the double hearts, with navy blue and silver... would the smore kits be a sore thumb? 2. If I do them, what is the best, and cheapest way to put them together? How should I package them? 10 points for the most help!!!

I need some help finding a dress....? I'm getting married in a few months and I've been looking for a dress. I don't want to spend more than $150 and I really don't want to go to a bridal shop. We're not having a real wedding. We're eloping and getting married at a little chapel in Tennessee. I need something for warm weather. I like A-line and probably knee length. Other than that I'm not really sure. I'm naturally large chested so I need something that I'm not going to spill out of. I also have broad shoulders. As far as color, I don't want plain white. Stark white is too severe. Actually, any other color but black is a possibility. So... Any ideas? I went through just about everything on ebay... nothing really caught my eye that I could afford.
Anyone get married in Las Vegas? I want a small, romantic wedding (just me and him!) and have looked at the Little Chapel of Flowers website, which looks lovely. Can you get romance in Vegas or is it all Elvis and a bit tacky? A few people have mentioned that it is a "cheap" wedding. The ceremony itself might be but we would be travelling over from England, staying in Vegas for a few days then off to a nice beach for 10 days, hopefully somewhere in the Carribean. So it is going to cost a far bit for the whole thing. I still think I would rather do that than spend 15-20 grand on an over the top day for 200 guests. I might look at some other places in the States that I can combine with a honeymoon. Thanks for all your answers.
Opinions? NJ court about to rule on gay marriage.? New Jersey could become the nation's gay wedding chapel should the state's highest court rule in favor of same-sex marriages, adversaries on the issue agree. The New Jersey Supreme Court is poised to release its highly anticipated decision Wednesday in a case brought by seven gay couples who say the state constitution allows them to marry, said Winnie Comfort, a spokeswoman for the state judiciary. New Jersey is one of only five states with neither a law nor a state constitutional amendment blocking same-sex marriage. As a result, the state is more likely than others to allow gays to wed, said advocacy groups on both sides. Only Massachusetts — by virtue of a 2003 ruling from that state's top court — allows gay marriages. Proponents and opponents from across the country are watching the case closely. "New Jersey is a stepping stone," said Matt Daniels, president of the Virginia-based Alliance for Marriage, a group pushing for an amendment to the federal Constitution to outlaw same-sex marriage. "It's not about New Jersey." From a practical standpoint, the Massachusetts court decision made little impact nationally because the state has a law barring out-of-state couples from wedding there if their marriages would not be recognized in their home states. New Jersey has no such law. *** For the record I am very very pro LGBT marriage. I hope this is a stepping stone for freedom for all people regardless of their gender**** nothing yet Bulldawg, should be announced around 3 pm est, I will update as soon as I hear UPDATE if you haven't heard................... gay marriage is LEGAL in NJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The courts ruled that it is LEGAL
My moms husband is a complete as.shole....what to do?? First of all, I'm 24, so I'm not just an angry teenager. Second, let me explain a little of the story to you. My mom divorced my dad when I was 20 b/c she was "bored". So she met "Gary" on the internet and after 2 weeks, moved him in with her and within 6 months they were married. My mom is fairly well-to-do, she owns a bridal business so she does quite well. Gary moved in with her with nothing but the shirt on his back. They have been married for 1 year now and she has bought him a new car, a hottub, tools, clothes....you name it. My problem with Gary is he drinks all the time, he puts her down constantly, and he spends her money like she is a bank. My mother and I have recently invested in a property and we are building a wedding chapel. Gary thought he would help and lead the construction on the building. The original budget was $30K, but he has spend $75K of my mothers money. And when he runs out of booze, he becomes a complete as.s!! How do I tell her that I HATE him!? Not to mention my mother is always putting my husband down, calling him lazy and whatnot, when her husband is a drunk as.shole!!
American looking for bridal shop in S Korea. I dont speak Korean. wedding dress here, to get maried statesid I'm stationed in S Korea. Getting married back in the states in May 09 when I PCS from here in 08. I found a dress I LOVE online at davidsbridal.com (style # V8822)...a Strapless organza corset gown with beaded metallic lace on bodice, skirt, and train. Chapel train. Available in white or ivory. I speak VERY little korean. I'm looking for a bridal shop that I can go into here and actual try on dresses and get fitted. Then just mail it home or take it with me when I go. Rather then waiting till I get back to the states and risking to liking "the one" when I get to try it on. Now in Korea I've noticed there are higher end retail stores and ahh...mom pop shops we'll call em (not high scale). I'm looking for a good bridal shop. It'd be nice if anyone new of a location where I could communicate with them. Otherwise I'll just ask my korean speakng friend to go with me (she'd love to) but I dont want to take time out of her day to drive me around etc.
Beautiful, affordable place to get married in the Metro Detroit area? I am newly engaged, and my fiance and I are planning a wedding for October 2008. We are having a hard time finding somewhere to get married. We live in the Metro Detroit area, and are looking for somewhere at least within about 45 minutes from Detroit. We do attend a church, but the building is new and not really our style for a wedding ceremony. We are Pentecostal and have our own pastor that we want to marry us, so that may put limitations on certain church options. We are estimating about 150 people. We would like to have an indoor wedding in a nice chapel. It doesn't have to be a church. We are not planning to spend much over $500 to rent the chapel, but we might be just a little flexible if it is a place that works for us. Thanks a lot for your help! We can use all the help in the world right now. =]
I need song ideas please!? My wedding is in June, and I've been thinking a lot about what song to be played while I am going up the aisle to the altar. We are having a small and intimate wedding, about 30 people invited. The chapel where we are having the service has a super short aisle so I wouldn't need a long song! I guess my thinking is that any traditional type of song would seem odd as only a small part of it would get to be played. I had thought of perhaps using "Fields of Gold",( by Sting) no singing, just the piano. I was looking for something a little different, a bit unusual! Does anyone have any ideas? If there are any thoughts on songs for when we're lighting our unity candle I'd like to hear those also! Thank you!!
Decorating the bubbles???? Okay so the chapel I went with comes with the wedding bubbles but of course they are just the little white plain bottles... Any ideas or pictures I could see to see how to decorate them. Make them actually look "cute" ???? Thanks
