Great wedding at A Las Vegas Garden Of Love? I had my wedding at Garden Of Love chapel and it was wonderful I don't understand how people think that on 7-7-7 that was the busiest day of the year that the lines at the courthouse was 5 hours long think that the chapels wouldn't be busy. You should have picked a day for just the two of you like I did 7-17-07 I thought of 7-7-7 but the Garden Of Love said that it was crazy out there the whole week they went above and beyond to make my day great. i will have a renewal there and will stick up for them as they did an excellent job on my wedding and would say they are the only chapel in las vegas that give you anything extra that does not charge you for it. What church in Orlando/Ocoee/Winter Garden will allow you to use their chapel if I'm not a member? I'm getting married March of 2008 and we would like to get married in a church. The church we attend is too large. Is there a place in Orlando, Ocoee, or Winter Garden that allows you to perform a wedding ceremony in their chapel even if we are not members?

Help! I need to find a beautiful, affordable garden wedding venue ...? My fiance and I are starting to pull her hair out :p trying to find a decent, affordable (<$1500) outdoor garden venue for a wedding. What we're looking for is something classic and beautiful with plenty of flowers and trees. NOT a golf course, nor a chapel or church building, or a hotel, and definitely not designed or accessorized like it was from the 80s. We've been search for a month and no luck whatsoever!! We're looking for something in the Illinois/Missouri area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheap Wedding? is there such a thing? I live in Los Angeles and all the wedding chapels are so expensive! I took a look at the Ivy House in Ingelwood and was blown away by the prices. It seems everything was ala a carte. I felt that the woman who was helping us wanted us out as soon as possible. We got there early and we were not helped until 30 minutes later. We are planning our wedding on December 31 of this year. My fiancee's afraid that if we plan a garden wedding that it might rain. Summer wedding colors to coordinate with red chapel? I am getting married in June in a beautiful, old-fashioned chapel with red carpeting and pews. The reception is outdoors behind a white mansion. I am trying to decide what colors would be best for the wedding. I do not want red bridesmaid dresses (I'll probably choose light blue). I either want to incorporate the red into my wedding colors or make sure the wedding colors do not clash with red. Here are my ideas: 1. Light blue and white (maybe silver or gold accents) -- bouquets would be monochromatic mixed blues 2. Light blue and deep red (bouquets would be red roses with white accent flowers and light blue ribbon) 3. English garden theme -- Light blue with wildflower bouquets (blue, purple, yellow, white, and pink) What do you think of the above ideas? Or do you have any other beautiful suggestions? Thanks! Help! me and my bf planned a Vegas Wedding this 8/8/08. but im confused on what kind of wedding i want.? we dont want anything fancy. but i want it intimate, fun and memorable. ive been busy checking Las Vegas Wedding websites. as much as i really want one over at Grand Canyon, most packages are expensive. i am also considering the Valley of Fire or Red Rock. or maybe Stratosphere. Sigh. can anybody give me advices on having the outdoor wedding versus the chapel, or garden venue. also, we r planning to stay at planet hollywood resort, is that okay? i got three of my friends coming. also, im so excited and nervous on planning this special event for us, can some shed more light on what stuff i SHOULD be aware of* (getting married, the wedding, some "must-know-hows"). pls reply ASAP. appreciate your help. thank you.

Vegas or NY or destination wedding? Please please please help me...this is supposed to be the happiest time in my life and I am freaking out! I dont know where to get married and I have to decide, like NOW. option 1- the queens botanical garden, its ok but there arent very many flowers, i like the fact that the wedding garden is private, but the main garden has about 20 other brides and no bride wants that, i want it to be my shining day. Option 2- go to vegas, get one of the hotel packages, or go to a chapel, stay there a couple of days and leave from honeymoon there (we are probably going to hawaii) Option 3- just fly to hawaii and get married and honeymoon there. this is hard because i know nothing about hawaii Option 4- I am open *the big problem is that we both are not religious, both dont have large families, both dont want to spend more than a couple thousand max, if in NY the wedding party would be under 20 people. so even on a rare occasion i have fond something cheap, they have a min. of 100 people. thanks to yahoo answers i have the perfect wedding venue. next question is? our wedding venue is a small historical village close by, we will be wed in the chapel, photos will be taken in the garden, and our guests will be served high tea after the wedding. we can afford to do high tea as well as an evening dinner reception because we are only having 36 guests. i have no thoughts on the style of my wedding gown. i should mention that i look truly really awful horrible sickly in white. so i was thinking either a frothy totally feminine pretty girly gown in the palest of pinks, [thanks to another yahooo poster for the idea of palest pink], or a western style gown in denim. i'm comfortable with either choice and i am lucky my fiance loves me as much when i'm in blue jeans and a white shirt as he does when i'm in a cocktail gown, so he'll love either style. of course the rest of the wedding party's clothing will reflect whatever style i choose for my gown.any suggestions, photos,links, would be appreciated so much.i am counting on y'all to help me~thanks so much well, i guess y'all made your point! i'm boring, my question is dull, and obviously stupid. only two people were kind enough, or interested enough, to take the time and offer their advice. thank you to the two of you.

wedding package on a budget? my aunt is getting married and is looking for a wedding package(minister, dress and tux rental, flowers, cake ,reception, photos and chapel or outside garden ceremony) does anyone know anywere in pennsylvania were they do this for under 1000.00 these places do exist in tennasee you can rent the dress and tux get married in a country chapel have a buffet style reception for 30 guests and that includes 30 photos your liscence, and fresh or silk flowers and a small 2 teir cake for 875.00. we just dont want to travel 9 hours for wedding

Where are the best outdoor wedding ceremony sites in or around Dayton, Ohio? I am getting married next spring, and I really would like to find a beautiful garden for an outdoor setting, or something unique and creative. I'd like to find a place that might have an indoor back-up in case of inclement weather (you never know in Ohio!!). Any suggestions for beautiful indoor sites, such as cute chapels, would be just as helpful! Our reception will probably be in Xenia, so ceremony sites close to there would be most suitable. Where is the best location in Vegas for an Outdoor Wedding? My sister wants to get married in Vegas in May 2009. She doesn't want the chapels or a hotel room wedding, and ideally wants to get married outside where it doesn't look like Vegas if you know what I mean? She is concerned that some of the hotel poolside weddings might involve screaming kids and guests in the background - is this an issue or do the hotel clear the area whilst a wedding is taking place? Ideas welcome .. she has read about the Secret Garden and Rainbow Gardens but has no idea what they are like. Appreciate any feedback, thanks. Idea of cost would also be great for around 20-30 guests.

where can i have a nice inexpensive wedding/reception in st charles county mo? My fiance and I dont have alot of funds but we would like to have a small wedding/reception that is memorable. We can afford something reasonable but nothing extravagant as we would like to put money towards a honeymoon package as well. Are there small non-denom churches, chapels, hotels (maybe with a terrace garden) or local parks that will let you get married there? If I can't have them in the same place, I would like to take my reception to a hotel or banquet center. I expect to have approx 75-100 guests. What are some good ideas for a wedding and reception on a budget? I am getting married in June of next year and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for colors, (I know I want an Aqua blue but what goes with that), inexpensive tricks and tips for having an elegant wedding on a budget. Here is what we know we have : a cute little chapel that is already decorated beautifully and needs nothing more than maybe some pew decorations, the reception is at the bed and breakfast a block away and will be outside in the garden area. They provide the minister, tables, chairs, linens an arch and a gazebo and we are having my finances parents cater since they own a restaurant in town and thats about it. I need some ideas I have no idea what goes into planning a wedding.

Las Vegas Wedding Planners? We are looking into getting married in Vegas in October 2007 and I have just started looking into things, prices, venues, etc. Was looking at Lake Las Vegas resort, but am thinking its to quiet of a place, and may be to pricey for some people to stay at. So can a person just have the ceremony there on the yacht without staying there or having the reception there? If not, then I was thinking of something along the lines of the ceremony being outside by a pool with a waterfall and tiki torches/candles or something along those lines. And the reception I was thinking of having it at some fun and lively pub type place with a dance floor, maybe a band, but thats good for ages 21- 70. We dont really have a set budget but "I" would like to keep it under 15,000. Would like a fun, somewhat unique theme maybe, that will keep people from just leaving and heading to a casino. If you know what I mean? lol. Any ideas? I am open to suggestions on where I should start without having to fly down there for the weekend beforehand. Some places that people have mentioned to me are: Ceasars Palace Venus Garden or Pool ceremony , reception at La Salsa Cantina, Cleopatras Barge, Mesa Grill Ceremony by the pool at the Mirage Chapel at Excalibur The Rio for both ceremony and reception.... Voodoo Lounge .....but then I have also heard that this place is kind of run down. Ventetian Any input on any of those? Questions to ask Reception site manager? My fiance and I are going to look at an old plantation (complete with a gorgeous turn-of-the-century chapel!) for a possible wedding/reception site this weekend. The wedding will be in the chapel, while the reception will be held outside in the gardens (there is no place for an inside reception), so we plan to rent a tent and all the works. What questions should we ask the site manager? I've thought of a lot, I just want to see if you guys think of any I haven't yet thought of!

Need Nice Restaurant in Las Vegas for Rehearsal Dinner!!? Ok, so me and my fiance are going to Las Vegas October 11th to get married. We're keepin it small (45 guests top) and simple. We're going to have the wedding at the Chapel of the Fountains at the Circus Circus Hotel. All guests are coming out of town and the nite before the wedding we're going to have rehearsal dinner. The question is where?! I haven't been to Vegas in 7 years, my fiance 4. We need a place that can accomadate a large group that's resonably priced (as everyone's going dutch). We're all 21+ with the exception of my fiance's 12 year old sister. And anything as close to the Circus Circus Hotel is great (as the wedding and ceremony are held right there). There is 2 restaurants there that we're interested in and if we hear good things, we'll have dinner there. They're called "The Garden Grill" and "Mexitalia X-Press". Anyone ever been there? VIP question: Is it O.K. to wreck the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony? We (bride and groom) take pictures with wedding party SEPERATELY starting at 6pm. The ceremony starts at 7pm. I want to meet him in the garden outside of the chapel to "steal" a moment alone with him around 15 min before ceremony starts. Plus, I want our photographer to capture our looks of surprise ( or disappointment ha ha) when we first see each other. Is that so wrong? Am I messing up tradition? Weddings in Vegas? Have some friends who are thinking of getting married in vegas with some close family and friends attending. Wouldnt be more than 50 people. I prefer to have it in a nice church not to big or I will still consider having it at the park if I can find some reasonable chair rentals. I am on a really tight budget (max $2000). I know I can do it for this much but when the lady told me about the price to rent the chapel that was out of the question. I need a location in Louisburg, Rolesville, or Youngsville area. Any suggestions will be helpful. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
