Unique white gold wedding band? I'm having trouble finding a unique women's white gold wedding band. I'd like something that has an antique style or something with an etched design (maybe floral, with vines, or along those lines, but not celtic). Probably nothing with any diamonds or gemstones. Allergic white gold wedding ring - was jeweler honest about alternative? My engagement ring and wedding band are white gold. I am allergic to white gold. I went to a jeweler today and asked about it being coated with a rhodium seal. He highly recommended not doing so and just replacing it with a platinum setting because I would constantly keeping having to have it resealed. Ring query? Well he fineally proposed! And the ring is gorgeous...half carat round cut diamond....sparkles sooooo much, with baguette diamonds either side. The setting is in white gold (or platinum, not sure) but the band's yellow gold. I adore it!.....I usually wear white gold or 2 tone gold. I have another lovely band he gave me that is yellow gold with white gold top and bottom. We both like 2 tone. The jeweller told him that if I prefered the ring in white gold it will cost twice as much to make a new one, simply because this ring is old stock an been marked down drastically. he said they can rhodium plate it to make it white. The front of the stone is flat and square in shape. The band is white gold, and the crown was custom made to hold the stone (because of it's unusual shape). Pawning a wedding ring set? I am going through a divorce and need some money ASAP, so I want to sell my wedding ring set. It's a 1 carat princess cut solitaire with a thick white gold band/setting, and the wedding band is a total 1 carat (I believe, maybe 3/4) with 8 princess cut diamonds and white gold. They are only about 1 year old. I'm not sure how much they sold for, but I think it was close to $4K. I've never done the whole pawning/selling thing so I have no idea how much I would get for it or what the process is. Unfortunately, I don't have the original paperwork on the rings either. Looking for wedding ring set? Set contains both engagement & wedding band for her & him. Diamond in middle, 2 small diamonds on sides, set in white gold surrounded in yellow gold. Wedding bands his/hers have 5 diamonds total, set in white gold & surrounded in yellow gold. Kays Jewelers used to sell the set but now I can't find it.

white gold versus platinum? my wedding ring and band are white gold, but we are finding a lot of platinum for decent prices, will the color difference be subtle enough or if they were side by side would you be able to tell? SORRY, I FOR SOME REASON PUT PLATINUM, I MEANT TITANIUM

Tattoo or new wedding ring set? Our 5th anniversary is coming up in Sept. this year...I've been wanting a new wedding band set since I got the one I'm wearing...it's nice but very cheap and it is very bent up and not looking so great. When my husband gave it to me I kinda wished he would have gotten something "more ME". (for example it's yellow gold, which I HATE, wanted white gold) Especially since I am wearing it forever...I am not a big jewelry person and I don't want to sound unappreciative...but I want something nicer period. Well he owes $300 on it still, we didn't go too high but it was $400 for the set. It's a white gold band with one good sized princess cut diamond, and the band is white gold with diamonds across the top. So now we can get it OR I can get a tattoo with that kinda money...in which I've been dying to get a new tattoo. Which would you choose? New tattoo? New wedding band set? Thank YOU!!! I already have tattoos...so that isn't really an issue...I don't believe that getting new ones will hurt our relationship...I wish I did like the rings because he gave them to me...but I don't! Mean but honest... I do absolutely love the idea of tattoo rings... I'm wanting to get several tats but the next one I get I want to get two zombie mermaids on my chest/not boobs...or a zombie fairy/doll on my back...

I hate two-tone jewelry but I wear gold and whitegold..........? my engagement ring will be a stunning white gold solitare but I wear yellow gold sometimes too what do you think about getting a yellow gold wedding band. I wouldn't wear then together, just yellow gold with yellow gold and white gold with white gold. I know "Whatever You Want" is a common answer but I am ust looking for sugesstions. Does anyone wear only their engagement ring after their married?
