Mens wedding bands- is 8mm too wide? My fiance found a ring at Kay Jewelers that he liked that was 7mm wide. We recently found another that he likes that is 8mm wide. He isn't a tiny guy or anything.... nor is he huge. He's about 5'10 or 5'11 and 200 pounds. Do you think an 8mm band is too wide?

those tungston carbide (sp?) and titanium mens wedding bands? ok, i have heard that the tungston carbide ones have to be cut off if they ever get stuck on a man's finger, so presumably you cant engrave them, right? can you engrave them? what about titanium ones? would they have to be cut off and can you engrave them? my fiance works in a steel mill so obviously his ring will take a beating (no he doesnt wear it while working, but taking it off and throwing it in lockers etc, it gets beaten) so i dont want to get white gold. if tungston and titanium are not able to be engraved, can someone tell me about a knockoff or some other harder metal ring that CAN be engraved? no gold, white gold, silver, or platinum please. thanks! thanks so far! what about a metal thats not AS hard as tungsten or titanium (they sound like a pain to get engraved so far!), and not as soft as gold, but will still look nice and be engraveable?

Mens wedding band? I recently bought myself a new beautiful diamond ring and I am feeling bad that my poor man has to wear a ring so plain. Does it look weird if a guy wears a ring with a lot of diamonds? He currently has a gold band with a channel and one .1ct diamond to the side. Ive been to a few of the jewelers, and around the web, and I noticed that the exact same rings are on ebay for hundreds less than in the jewelry store. Literally the exact same, on ebay for like 20$ at fred mayer for 500$ or so. Is there something wrong with the rings? Are they cheap titanium or tungsten or whatever? Downsizing a 14k gold ring should be free due to the cost of gold? I have a 6mm 14k gold mens wedding band and it is currently a size 14 and want to get it down sized to a size 12. Going down 2 sizes and with the price of gold so high now I would think they would not charge anything due to the left over gold but that does appear to come into play. Why? If I was upsizing 2 sizes I know I would be paying for gold to do that why if they are taking gold out?

deciding on colors for wedding rings? My boyfriend and I have talked about marriage, we've been together 5 1/2 years. We've looked at rings online and discussed what we want. My question is would it look funny or odd if I have white gold rings and my boyfriend (husband) has a yellow gold one. can a mens designer diamond ring be used for a wedding ring? The ring I bought my fiance' is 14kt gold and has 56 square diamonds invisible set. It is not a traditional wedding band though. Wedding band? I'm getting married next spring. My fiance and I are in the process of planning our wedding and ironing out the details. I really dig this wedding band for myself, but I guess it's a man's one..
