We would like to rent our dress and tux while we are there and would like to find a chapel who includes the dress and tux in their wedding package. I have found two so far...sweethearts weddings and cupids weddings. Do you know of any others?

Any ideas how to get my wedding dress from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas? I am flying delta, have a layover in Georgia, they will not let me hang it in first class. and It will not fit the requirments to have as a carry on.. I thought I was prepared for everything, but this kinda puts a damper on things... Never thought about how to get it there. I called Delta and the only way I can hang it is if I had a seat in first class. My dress has netting in it so it is kinda puffy, so it wont fit as a carry on, plus it may be kind of hard to make our connecting flight running through the airport with a dress in hand.

Wedding dress at restaurant? ? My fiance and I are having a very small ceremony (about 15-20 people max) at the Excalibur in Las Vegas. Basically, it's our immediate family going and that's that. Since it's such a small group, we figured we would just go to dinner with everyone and one of the restaurants in the hotel or near by instead of planning a full on reception. My question is, should I run up to our room and change out of my dress/ him change out of his tux before doing so? Or have you ever been to a wedding where you do dinner at a restaurant and the bride and groom stay dressed in their ceremony clothing? I wouldn't mind wearing my dress, i'd love to show it off more! lol , but I just don't know if it'll be strange. Then again, it is vegas.. Any opinions? It's not going to be in a buffet..it's a nice, sit down place. It's in vegas..but not very "traditional" vegas style. My husband and I are renewing our wedding vows in a formal ceremony. What do I wear? Not my wedding dress!? We are renewing our vows in a ceremony in Las Vegas in August. It starts at 7 and then we are having a cocktail party and dinner after for all our guests. I am really at a loss as to what the appropriate thing to wear is. Wedding cancelled? Stuck with the dress!? My best friend asked me to be her maid of honor. It has turned into a NIGHTMARE. I helped her with the wedding invitations, planned the bachelorette party and sent out invitations for that, I went and paid $150 for my dress, and she was even having her wedding and reception in my backyard. Now, because of issues with the grooms parents not getting along with her, she has called off the wedding ceremony, and is getting married a month sooner in Las Vegas. She still plans to have the reception at my house, and wants me to wear my formal dress! I feel that this whole thing has become totally tacky. She now has to tell everyone who is invited now that it is NOT the wedding they will be coming to, but ONLY the reception. I really don't want to wear my dress, as it is in my backyard and is not really a formal occasion. Had I been in a ceremony I would have had no problem, but I think it is just awkward for me to be all dressed up while everyone else is in jeans and t-shirts! I just would really like to try and at least get my money back for the dress, which hopefully I can since I haven't actually picked it up yet. But I don't want to hurt her feelings by refusing to wear it. Any suggestions?

Was married 7 yrs ago in Las Vegas, now I want to renew my vows.? I am Roman Catholic and my husband is Lutheran and we could not agree on the "Church" for our wedding, so I agreed with going out to Las Vegas and we were married by an ordained minister of the Methodist Church. Ever since then, I've always felt like I was not married in the eyes of the RCC. I am looking into planning our renewal in the RCC and my husband has agreed. What I want to know is if I have to get my original marriage blessed and if I were able to have an ordained Deacon or priest marry us? Black bridesmade dress?? I am having a VERY small formal wedding in Las Vegas with one bridesmaid. Do you think it's ok for her to wear a black dress with a little white (shawl or bow around the waist)???

My bridesmaid wont attend a destination wedding, but ive already ordered and PAIDfor her dress...help!? My finacee and I are getting married in Las Vegas in November, we have already ordered and paid for all the dresses and hers was custom fitted because she wears such a small size...now shes not sure if she will go or not because we changed the location...help..what can i do? We changed the destination to Las Vegas, and we are offering to pay for either her hotel or her flight...We have already paid for her and all of our bridesmaids dresses...the wedding is in November and everyone else has already committed!

My fiance doesn't want a wedding!? My fiance and I have been together for three years, we just moved to his home town. He proposed, and then returned to another state to finish work. When I asking him about the wedding he says that he doesn't care & if I have it my home town there is no way he would invite anybody, as he doesn't want anyone to be out of pocket for it. He wants to get married in Las Vegas now, without any family at all. This would brake my mum's heart. I have always been a tom boy and never worn a dress or skirt, but for some reason I really want to have a wedding where I can get all dressed up, and have that one day. How do I convince him to have a wedding? I really want this and I know in a couple of years I will regret not having a wedding, and I don't want this to come between us.

Waterfall wedding in April, still no location, any ideas? Please help!!!!? His dream's a waterfall wedding, my dream's just 2 have my family there. Groom's Parents Question on Wedding Expenses - Feeling Guilty? Should I feel guilty because my husband and I cannot help with the expenses of my son's wedding? We are both retired on a very small income. Bride's parents, grandparents and stepmother are financially better off. I paid for son's suit and we plan on giving him a bit of cash for his honeymoon. When I told my future daughter-in-law we just couldn't help much, she said that the brides family takes care of most of the expenses but grooms parents pay for the rehearsal dinner and their honeymoon. I told her we just didn't have it. They are going to Las Vegas and there is no way we can pay for that. She also wanted me to buy a very expensive mother's dress to match her colors, it was over $300 - I told her that I couldn't afford it. She is a sweet person but has appeared kind of smug about it all lately, it really makes me sad I can't do more. She knew a long time ago that we are not well off. My son seems to understand but I still feel guilty about it, what would you do?

should we go through with it???? should we or shouldnt we have a lavish vow renewal ceremony and reception???? i would like to get some other opinions on this...a few people i have spoken too have tried to persuade us not to,saying we should just be happy with with what we had and get over it......... my husband and i were married 3 years ago in las vegas,alone no family or friends, after our dreams to wed in a big lavish ceremony were dashed by my parents and by other so called loved ones,and a few other circumstances....... we always said we would have an actual wedding and even though the one we had in vegas was special it would mean alot to us to celebrate with our friends and family....in the way we had planned to originally i have researched the etiquette online regarding vow renewals....and so far i cant find anything that says that they are weird or just not done!i dont plan on wearing an actual wedding dress...its a white coktail dress with a hot pink sash,and we would have a small ceremony at our church with only family and close friends(about 25 or so),no attendants,flowers girls..etc,a small reception at my aunts house...something simple but elegant.no gifts,or anything like that....... i would like to have some actual photos of us taken and have our daughter be part of it. so anyway.....sorry to ramble on....i just wanted to see what others thought about our plans.....either way i guess i will go ahead with my plans but i wanted to see if anyone else had done something like this...or even knew someone who has and could maybe offer some tips!!! in response....to knobett..... i have been with my husband for 7 years....we were engaged for 3 years... we have a beautiful home,nice cars,a great savings plan for retirement and college for our daughter...... if you had completely planned your dream wedding and then one day had to cancel all everything...would you wait 20 YEARS to celebrate????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

What should I do? I need another perspective!?I am getting married May 10th 08.? I asked my sister to be my Matron of Honor. I knew financially she couldnt do anything because shes on welfare but I wanted to have her by my side as well as her daughter my niece as the flower girl. I told her not to worry I would cover all that would be necessary. As far as the dress, shoes, hair, makeup, accomodations and transportation. We live in California but we are having our wedding in Las Vegas. She said she would be happy to. And so I got her dress, shoes, a condo for 4 days 3 nights. I have also got everything my niece needs as well. The whole process has been painful. Everyday or every other day she tells me she cant be in the wedding and that neither can my niece. For financial reasons. So then I cover whatever it is and then shes back in. On Monday she called to find out about the gas money for the trip. We came up with $200.00 for the roundtrip. She said $250. Refused to give an explanation for the amount or they wont be in the wedding.My fiance wants her out of wedding If i cut her out of the wedding Im going to lose her and my niece in my life. If I leave her in the wedding how much more is it going to cost or drain me emotionally. Ive spent tons on having them both in the wedding because I love them both. I feel like shes totally taking advantage of me and the situation. Shes bringing her husband for the trip and we will be paying to feed him for 4 days three nights as well but he isnt even coming to the wedding. Ive done everything i can.
